I've always found this place to be a decent, chill place to play pool at over the years, despite that the tables are placed slightly close to each other. They have a decent amount of different-sized cue sticks, which I thought was nice. I've never found the prices here(per hour) too unreasonable. Not to mention they sell food and drinks on the side, which is a nice plus, considering the slight lack of food options in the immediate vicinity to here.
Unfortunately though, I fear for the future of this business, due to the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District's stupid decision to close the parking lot(when all it needed was a repaving, and possibly new + effectively-placed speed bumps, if anything) in front of the Lincoln Village 1-6, making it tougher to find where this place is. Never mind that I do also realize that a retirement home was built inbetween the LV Theater and Borders, and I sometimes wonder if the owners of that retirement home asked the city and/or aldermen to close the parking lot to the north, in order to decrease traffic in that area.
Also, this place is STILL OPEN, unlike what many think, and I've sadly noticed greatly decreased business for this place in recent months, ever since the parking lot in front of the LV Theater was closed. Luckily though, it still is accessible, by driving past the entrance of Hong Kong Buffet(seperate from the renovated L. Village center to the south), and going to the east end of the parking lot. Be careful if you shortcut through the parking lot inbetween Famous Footwear and Hong Kong Buffet, since there are several potholes you have to avoid in the parking lot area to the side of HK Buffet(the parking lot inbetween HK Buffet + Silver Cue doesn't have this problem, thankfully). All what I said in the last 2 paragraphs aside, I hope this place stays open for years to come.
