The Square Pub

If you like Decatur and Brick Store is a bit over your budget or too yuppy for you go to Square Pub. The food is excellent, the service is great and they have a nice beer menu. You can almost always get a table and everyone is very friendly, especially the owner Bob.

Square Pub is my favorite place to grab dinner and a beer in Decatur!

The smell alone in this place will turn your stomach and make you want to leave.  We sat at the bar and had some cocktails.  I ordered a ginger martini which was way too sweet, so I went with a vodka tonic after that...the guys ordered beer.  I think we enjoyed watching a younger crowd make fools of themselves more than anything.  After awhile, I could not handle the smell any longer so we went to the next pub!

Great spot. Friendly staff. Try the fried avocado!
