Twain's Billiards & Tap

I've been here twice and loved it both times. Me and my boo played pool, and for two of us for an hour or two it is really reasonably priced. The tables are full sized and the environment is good. The drinks are really yummy, especially the Peach Mojito. The Peach beer was huge but not very good. But I'm not much of a fan of American beer.
I will definitely be back.

The 5th star here is because Tuesday night Jazz was so, so great.
Twain's is huge (or maybe my recently-moved-out-of-NYC-perspective is off); there is a giant dining room, with a stage for live music visible from most angles. Then there is a giant back room with billiards and a separate bar.
The food is actually quite good for being a pub; I went with a friend who hadn't been in about a year, and he said the menu was much improved from the last time he'd been. My turkey burger was succulent, my greek salad was yummy and well-balanced (although a little overkill on the feta), and my friend's Burner Burger (Blackened Brasstown Beef, tomato and poblano chutney, pickled jalapenos, sriracha mayo, jack cheese.) was seriously a flavor-bomb in the best way.
Live jazz at Twain's is perfect. The first set seemed to be comprised of all the regulars, and then as the night went on, people from the room kept coming up with their instruments and joining in. The musicians were phenomenal; they were clearly just having SO MUCH FUN, and it was a delight to watch/listen.
I keep telling everyone I know that I can't wait to take them here on a Tuesday night and I'm being sincere.

Good food, Great vibe and nice mix of people from all walks. Tuesday night is Jazz/open mic-ish night, didn't realize it when we walked in, but it was an enjoyable night for sure.

Food is good, on par with Decatur fair and in line with places similar.

Beer-They brew about 8-10 of their own beer and it changes regularly, some are hits and some are not so hits, but that's the way it goes. I commend any place that has the balls to brew in house so its all GREAT to me. Im an IPA, Porter, Stout and etc beer drinker so I know my palate can be a little snobby.

Service is friendly when they aren't busy and are nice when they are. It is what it is and they do what they do....There is a girl that bartended one afternoon I was there with shoulder length brown hair in pigtails...I can't for the life of me remember her name but OMG if I could pinch her cheeks and hug the shit out of her I would..she is all sorts of awesome!

Don't really have anything bad to say about this place expect for the girls bathroom runs out of toilet paper and at times you find "presents" left on the floor by some girl that thought she could drink with the boys...So really my complaint would be with girls that can't manage to pee IN the toilet and puke IN the toilet...STAY the hell home and quit stealing Twain's TP.

Also have pool tables, shuffle board, darts and something else I didn't pay attention to...I'm there to sit at the bar, stuff my face with hummus, drink beer and people watch.
