I desperately wanted to get the Jack and Coke slushie, butttttt I couldn't at the time. The sandwiches were itty bitty, like tiny. We got the Mile High Club, the Castro, and the Weed Eater. They were good but not anything fantastic. They each came with a handful of chips, but for $4 it was ok. It was an interesting place for sure. I'd definitely like to try the alcohol there.
Review Source:A very cool place with lots of seating that offers a number of Bite Size sammiches for around 3 bucks each with the sides priced about the same.
My personal favorites are the hambo and the castro but they are all pretty awesome and they have alot of variety.
Dont forget the jack and coke slushie plus they have a huge bar list and pool tables in the back room.
One thing I noticed about this place thats great is they include tax in their prices so you get a nice rounded out tab.
I don't often order a drink with my meal, but I've been addicted to Coke Icees for about the last thirty years so...there you go. I actually have a lot to say about the perfect conditions for a Coke Icee and I could go on about it for a long time, but it's really boring. Long story short, the first Jack & Coke slushie I got at Victory was the PERFECT consistency and it really made my freaking day. And I had promised myself that I was only going to get one (double), but I ended up getting two because it was that amazing. The only thing stopping me from getting three was the $8 price tag, but that's probably for the best. I can always have one next time I go. And there will be a next time. BTW, the consistency was slightly off with my second drink (too liquidy) but after sucking down the first one so quickly I didn't much care.
On to the food, it was good, not great, but there are enough intriguing sandwiches on the menu that I want to come back and try them all. I found that everything was VERY seasoned, which was cool but a little bit confusing to my palate because I ordered three sandwiches and there was just so... much... going on on my plate. I ordered the Mile High Club (which was not at all Mile High--in fact it was sort of flat), the Beast On Yeast (just okay), and the pork sandwich with coolslaw (not sure the name, don't see it on the online menu, but it was an awesome mindmeld of sweet and savory and crunchy and smooth...yes). The chips they serve are peppery and intense but delish. I also tried the watermelon salad which was just not my thing.
I have three young 'uns who weren't with me the night I visited. I noted there were a lot of babies and kids dining at this location and a handy dandy changing pad in the bathroom. So next time I may bring the fam. It's always good to know that they would be welcomed.
