Starlight Lounge

We stopped at Starlight for their happy hour drinks before checking out First National Taphouse.  We hadn't been for a couple of years, but knew it was a great spot for inexpensive martinis.

+ $3 Crater Lake martinis (up from $2 a couple of years ago)
+ $3 Microbrews
+ Friendly bartender

Starlight isn't a spot I'd likely hang out for hours and hours, but it's great for a pre-dinner martini!

These guys are great. Good drink specials, pretty relaxing atmosphere before the patrone happy hour hits. Then it becomes a madhouse. They're good at taking care of us regulars though, even when the place gets mobbed.

Met a friend there for a few beers around 8:30. Around an hour later, when it started to get a little busy, a cocktail waitress informed us she "had to take our chairs for the pool room" and unceremoniously proceeded to do just that, leaving us standing at the bar. Unfortunately we'd just gotten refills so moved to another spot to finish them, but I couldn't wait to leave after that. Unbelievable. If you want to feel like a valued customer, go to Rogue next door.
