The Swiss Bakery & Pastry Shop

very terrible place, I met the owner and had a brief talk with her about the way she ran her stores. She has two locations, one in Ravensworth and another one in Burke. The stores are not good quality, they sell cookies that you can get at giant for the same price and better quality! the coffee is horrible! I am never going to come back to this place and i advise all who are thinking of going to think again and spend your buck elsewhere.

Excellent for breakfast and lunch, and they have lots of great Swiss and German products on hand. The seating is limited, and it's often very busy. They do bring your order over to your seat rather than needing to wait for it at the window. They also make beautiful cakes and a variety of other pastries and baked goods.

My daughter ordered a black & white for her daughters birthday.  There was no chocolate flavor in the "black" portion, which was brown, and no cake flavor in the white part.  It was all a bit dry.  The icing was similarly devoid of flavor.  If you but a cake here, take a photo and then throw away the cake.  Maybe I'm spoiled because my wife, who does not bake for a living, can throw together a better cake in an hour and a half.
