*I think this was cash only (a little hard to recall)* This place was a little difficult to find as it's a hole in the wall place on Westwood Blvd and the environment/seating was a little bit awkward as we sat in a restaurant style booth outside. Â They were kind enough to give us delicious and free tea though. Â Trust me and get the tea with your hookah. Â This is the best quality of hookah I have ever had. Â The bowl lasts forever no joke. Â Out of the four of us smoking, the bowl lasted the entire time we were there. Â For me personally, I do go to hookah lounges for the environment as well as the quality of the hookah (ambiance and quality aren't mutually exclusive for me) and the quality is top notch but the environment was a little awkward. Â Still the best near UCLA (so much better than overrated and overpriced Gypsy/Habibi).
Review Source:I would give this place zero stars if it were possible. It's not that the hookah was bad, but that the service was atrocious. The manager didn't give my entire change back and lied saying they didn't have enough cash in the register, which is bs because this is an all cash business. I had to argue with him until he decided to give the rest back.
Review Source:I didn't have a great experience. It started off fairly well, but my experience just went downhill. This is a traditional little place and the hookah was of good quality. However, I asked for new coals three times, while everyone else around me got new coals, including people that were there after my girlfriend and I were. After a while, we gave up (we never had our coals changed, not even once). As I went to pay, I was charged 18 dollars and was told that they don't take card. When I mentioned that we didn't get coals, he said, "sorry, but we only have the one Mexican working." Needless to say, I won't be coming back.
Review Source:One of the most friendly business owner you can ever meet. He welcomes you with all of his warmth. I personally love their hookah. You can understand that they do not use cheap tobacco for their hookah.
Also try their appetizers. They have valet parking so parking is not an issue anymore.
What a great find. I went to attend my friends Birthday celebration. The food here is fabulous. The prices were very reasonable and portions generous. I ordered the Algerian Taujin with lamb, rice and vegetables. Also Syrian Mulukhiyan which was a type of chicken dish with garlic, cilantro and rice. I will definitely return to this fine restaurant. A definite great place for take out too. Lovely and friendly staff!!
