I went to the Sunday brunch and it was really wonderful. My friends from Mexico City said that they felt like they were back in Mexico. I'm not a huge fan of mariachi bands but they were so good. The selection and quality of food was outstanding. I also met the the owner, Vicente, and he was very attentive and nice. I would recommend this to all my friends.
Review Source:A friend and I went at 1pm. We were seated at a table with four empty tables around us. There was not many people at that time. We ordered drinks and our food. Our drinks came immediately. Ten minutes later, the tables around us began to fill up, our food still had not arrived. 35 minutes later, the four tables around us had been filled and their food had been delivered to their tables. My friend and I still had no food nor had anyone come to tell us the status of our food. We stopped a waiter and said 45 minutes had gone by and still no food. We were told that, "your food is coming out in a moment; we had to make it fresh". Um, hello, was everyone else's food from a box? I don't think so. We told the waiter we had to go back to work and this was unaccpetable. We get the bill and the waiter says, "Oh we removed one entree from your bill". You should have removed both. He gave us our food and we left. Only to arrive back to work with COLD FOOD. Nothing was even warm. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER again. I do not recommend this place. Bad service, wait staff was unattentive, and the manager did not even come out to apologize. Very unprofessional.
Review Source:A lot of mixed reviews for a great little spot. Of course I live within a few blocks so I know what and when to order. As far as the westside goes, this is a great spot. Is it like a mom and pop hole in the wall? No, but you can also have a few margaritas and have great food with some good friends.
