Damn you, Barney's! So understated at first, and seemingly, so very basic at first glance, so why can't I get you out of my head now that I'm on the east coast nearly a year later?!
This place is cozy, funky and really fun. My uncle took my husband and I here when we were in L.A. last September as part of our drive up the Cali coast honeymoon (from San Diego to San Fran) and we were happily surprised at this place! Each one of us had different chili offerings, but all 3 of them were amazingly delicious. We loved it so much that we came back for breakfast the next day and had some great spicy options. Really awesome place - I wish we had a location in NYC. I would be there in a heartbeat. Until then, I'll have to just daydream about this badass chili and charming dive spot!!
I mean it is what it is and I'm happy that Barney's contributes to the not to many bars here in Westwood.
Been here a few times and the food is okay. Best time to come would probably be happy hour where appetizers are priced at a more reasonable rate.
Great service when it's slow but can be a little slow when its busy.
Also this is a great place to sit down and catch a beer or two while meeting up with someone during non-peak hours!
This place is really cool.
It was my first time here on Margarita night and there was Karaoke night as well. However this is not a regular bar, it surely is a Sports bar. They have like at least 40 TVs everywhere for you to enjoy games and stuff like that. The crowd is more in the late 20s but overall, if you're coming to chill with friends without the loud music it can be nice, just don't come on karaoke night because some of their voices can get really annoying! The service is excellent and the girls are always on top of their table so that's good and they focus on their sales  a lot. They always push for more drinks and in my opinion, if i owned that place, that's what I would want.
