Westwood Brewing Company

Good place.  I've always enjoyed myself here because a lot of my friends will be out here any day of the night.  It's spacious and got room to sit and just chat with friends, which certainly beats Maloney's or Barney's.  It's a great place.

The bad parts:  the bartenders take forever to get you drinks.  But bring a female friend, because they get drinks fast (if they're cute) and a lot of times, for free (shady male bartenders).  If your female friends are extra nice, they'll just get drinks and throw them your way.

Not much else to it.  They sell food, but I've never personally bought any here.  And it can get super crowded on some days.

What a shithole!  It was bad enough that it was packed with dudebros, but did it really have to smell like the inside of a portapotty?  Disgusting.

At first I was excited at the chance to have a variety of good beer on tap while hanging out in Westwood.  But looks like they just changed owners, the change of ownership notice from the city in the window was the give away.  I guess I should give them a break because that is always a difficult time, but 3 stars is giving them a gift for that as well as they had obsidian stout on nitro, one of my favorite beers, which I can't get back east.  

But when the bartender is not interested in us or the one other table in the place, and the place has no ventilation, and it has one of the scariest bathrooms I've been to in a while, they are lucky to have 3 stars and not 2.  So if you can get the bartender to stop watching TV there is a good selection of drafts and if you want to be left a lone then it is a good place.  But if you like places where the bathroom faucet is not attached to the sink and there is standing water in the john, then have at it.  So one beer for my group and we were out of here and went somewhere else.
