I came here with a friend to catch a few drinks. Â Maybe because it was a Wednesday night, but it was not very happening. Â The bartender we were talking to seemed kinda pretentious that it didn't make me feel very welcomed or comfortable there. Â When I was going to order one of the scotch they had, he said they were out of that but it's not good anyway. Â Well, that sure isn't what you wanna hear - worker putting down what they sell and what if that happened to be my favorite drink?! Â I ordered a cocktail, which was ok, but kinda weak and not worth the price especially after getting served by that bartender. Â After we finished one drink, we just left and went somewhere else.
Review Source:Came here for dineLA lunch and was so impressed with the food...each course was fully deserving of the 5 stars.
The Brie Cheese, Honey, and Fig Toast appetizer was amazing with subtle rich flavors. I liked that they provided a small side of arugula salad to go with.
The California Chicken sandwich was simple but tasty. Definitely must upgrade to truffle fries; it makes a world of difference.
The Cherry Bourbon Bread Pudding...words don't even describe...it was one of the best desserts I've ever tasted. The end.
At first they gave us a different dineLA menu than the one listed online. After a bit of gentle complaining they gave us the right one so that was a little shady but the food more than made up for it.
Glendon Bar & Kitchen is definitely my go to spot for good American food in the Westwood Village area. Â It's far better than California Pizza Kitchen and BJ's, while at the same price point. Â The salads, pizzas and sandwiches are all very good; I've tried a variety of items. Â Service is friendly and prompt whether you are there with a large group or just a couple of people.
