Tim's Bar

Uh, I had a blast at this southside dive last night. Tim sold it a while back, so it's no longer Tim's Bar. It's now known as the Avenue Bar.

They normally take credit cards, but a would-be burglar cut the phone wire thinking it would disable the alarm (it didn't). So for now, cash would be a good idea. The beer selection is slim. No drafts and only about seven bottles, a few available in cans as well. The most high end beer they have is michelob lager. I went with bud since they were out of high life.

Drinks are cheap as shit. A whiskey sour and bud came to $5.50. There is a sweet electronic dart board and a pool table. Decent layout, although if I had bought it, I would move the pool table to the front and throw shows, using the back as a band space.

Restrooms were haggard, and not in a charming way, but that's all good. More importantly, the jukebox has some surprisingly decent options, the bartenders are dolls, and the patrons are welcoming and interesting characters to boot. An old timer was totally playing club hits on the jukebox...haha. Crazy Frog "who let the frog out".

Side note: I'm terrible at darts, and Moe is really effin good, even when stumbling drunk.
