Hey Hey Bar & Grill

Certainly tamer than it was when I lived in GV years ago. My favorite memory was headed in about 1:30 am and the cops pull and up and ask us "Hey, are they still fighting in there?" And when we asked why they, I suppose jokingly, said "We don't feel like getting into some mess if we don't have to." And drove off. And no, they weren't "still fighting in there" that night, but what a rogue's gallery awaited us. The Hey Hey was always a good place to drink until you fell right off the bar stool, and people generally would pick you up off the floor. Never a dull place to be snookered.

Had never been to the Hey Hey before hearing that Angie from the Coop had joined the kitchen - bringing in all the amazing food (read: Yak burgers, Turducken tacos, etc...). The Hey Hey kept their classic Germain fare: sauerkraut balls, pretzels, etc... but entered a whole new level of awesome with their new menu!

They have Angela Theado (The Coup) cooking! Of course I am a fan. SaurKraut Balls, what?!?!?! Yum Yum.
