This was our first visit to T Murray's, and we were impressed. Love the decor, the dark, rich woods, exposed brick walls, etc. the bar was our first stop, and the drinks are pretty good....a little on the pricey side, but still good. The appetizers were nice, liked the flash fried calamari and pepperocini peppers. Had "The Mac" Mac  and cheese with shrimp and jalapeños. Good stuff. My girlfriend had the Fried Grouper Sandwich, and wow, that was awesome.
The place is worth a try, and we will be back for sure. Staff is friendly and attentive , food is good , atmosphere is nice.
Did I have a great time at T. Murray's? Why yes, yes I did! Was is because we had amazing service and amazing food? Well no, no it wasn't, because we didn't get that. My great time a T. Murray's was facilitated by great friends and too much wine.
T. Murray's was A-OK and I am glad I tried it, but it just wasn't my kind of place. Their fryer temp was off and everything they fried was soggy and oily. We had to send back the neat looking ribbon chips to get fried more. I got the burger and the fries were limp, but I didn't send those back. The burger was fine and at this point, not memorable. My boyfriend really enjoyed some kind of fish on top of risotto.
Service was ok. Sometimes responsive, like helping take back the ribbon chips, but sometimes missing in action when water was needed.
Decor was pretty swanky and the ceiling was super high so it makes the place feel big. Eating some apps at the bar might be where it's at here.
We returned to T Murray's tonight and I'm gonna bump them up another star. Â We went with small plates again sticking to the eggplant stack, bacon and eggs, mac and cheese and adding the frites. Â All were pretty darn awesome and you can't do much better for a nice high variety dinner. Â Of course, we had a lot left over.
This time around, the music was a ton better with a nice sprinkling of James Brown between random jazz and blues tunes. Â
All this with two perfect Maker's Mark Manhattan's make for a happy evening out.
