H.B. is an awesome neighborhood dive. Â Not just a dive however, the food is actually pretty good and the staff is just fantastic. Â They recognize you and you feel part of a crowd when you're there... very eclectic mix of people but everyone kind of vibes together in the end. Â Bathrooms are flat out gross but that's part of the charm! Â (go #2 before you leave home, or better yet sneak into T Murrays and go there). Â Great food specials such as free pizza mondays and free hot dog tuesdays. Â Ping pong table is a treat. Â Highly recommended as a place to throw down a few any night of the week.
Always have the hockey games on for you NHL fans
I think consistently the best bar in Columbus. Â It's a dive, but that's ok. Â You'll get a mixture of people - young professionals, punks, old neighborhood people. Â Great owners who will talk to you and make you feel welcome. Â They know how to operate a bar and even when it's packed you can get a drink without much hassle. Â Good darts that are rarely used in comparison to other bar games inside. Â Surprisingly good brisket pizza. Â Bathrooms are a little scary, but that only adds to the charm in my opinion.
Review Source:Solid bar. Â Kind of a divey feel, although a bit nice for a dive. Â Nice, long bar with several bartenders working, so it was easy to get up to the bar and get a drink. Â They have domestic bottles at cheap prices, but also had Great Lakes Christmas Ale, so there is a nice variety. Â My friends and I played darts for several hours in a cool little darts nook and had a great time. Â The basement bathrooms, between the stone walls and wet floor, had a little bit of a Goonies feel, but after several beers, that seemed fun. Â It was loud and crowded, but in a fun atmosphere where those things didn't seem like negatives. Â Good music played all night. Â Everyone there seemed like they were having a great time.
