Short North Tavern

I guess it's a good dive bar for cheap beer-I would agree with this.
Enviornment: Short north needs a bar like this! It is a dive bar and it serves a valid purpose!
Drink: Cheap beer!
Food:Don't come here for the foods. I was very disappointed I didn't go to Mac's across the street.
Service: The bar tender was fun, but the food literally took an hour to make...
Price: Very reasonable!!!

This is definitely a neighborhood bar. I've never had their food but they do have darts and good beer specials

I've never had the food at Short North Tavern, so this review doesn't touch on that at all.

I like this place because of its simplicity. On a night out with friends, its nice to start the night (or end the night) at a place thats lively enough to get you energized for the evening but not so packed that you can't hear yourself think (or talk to the rest of your party). The beer selection isn't as long as some other bars in the area, but they have pitchers of cheap domestics.

There's standard bar elements inside: booths, tables, darts, OK bathrooms. Nothing fancy.

Its within walking distance of all the restaurants in the Short North, and a perfect option to start an evening of Short North bar hopping, or whatever else your evening might entail.

And now after reading the other reviews, maybe I'll have to try the tacos.
