Worst bar experience ever. They crammed a disgusting number of people in this place for New Years...all being charge $10-$25 each for a cover. Before drinks. I waited over 20 minutes in line for the girls bathroom while girls screamed at each other to get out while others were puking everywhere. It was a safety hazard to have so many bodies in this complex... the other bar goers were either drunk beyond belief or were violently pushing people to get through. I will NEVER go back and warn everyone to say away from this disgusting place!

I really like this bar. I usually go on College Nights, Burger Nights or on the weekends during the summer. They usually have great drink specials, the atmosphere is always fun and I really like the music.

However I have to say I'm a little turned off by the cover charge. I don't really consider Park Street Complex a dance bar/club so I hate having to pay $5-$10 to get in and then spending even more money on drinks.

It's a great place to start off your night though! With great specials on pitchers, fishbowls and appetizers it's always makes for a fun time.

I'm up in the air on the Complex. Part of me dislikes the rebranding they did on Sugar Bar, part of me hates having to pay a cover to get into a bar in the Arena District that isn't a dedicated dance club (Mynt, Mozaik), but regardless, I always seem to have a blast at PSC.

The Complex is comprised of Park Street Patio, a huge outdoor patio as well as a narrow indoor bar, The Social, a more "upscale" type situation with a rooftop patio, and the Saloon, which is nothing more than Sugar Bar rebranded as a dueling piano Western bar. Not really sure why they decided to rebrand the eurotrash-esque Sugar Bar into a dueling pianos bar when The Big Bang is two blocks down the street, but all-in-all it's whatever because they ultimately play the exact same playlist as Sugar Bar did, only you're surrounded by wooden walls with lassos and cowboy paraphenalia on the them instead of a giant flashing "SEXY" sign.

Prices are pretty much Arena District standard; a $40 bar tab at the end of the night is no surprise (for me at least. I'm a lush.) The music is decent, though the indoor section of Patio usually has some sort of live entertainment, and it usually sucks. Stay outdoors or in the Saloon if you're not into '80s cover bands singing Guns 'n Roses all night.

The drinks are stiff, which tends to be a recurring theme in the Arena District nowadays, and the bartenders are friendly. I had one bartender trading shots with me the last time I went, all of which mysteriously did not appear on my final bill. Love when that happens. :)

All in all the Complex is a decent place to hang out, though I have to take a star away for a cover-charge on what isn't really THAT different from any other bar in the area - especially Garage Bar or Brothers.
