This is one of my favorite places to go for brunch. All of their servers are super personable. I love the food variety. The Edgar's Skillet is my usual dish, although sometimes I've gone for the Stuffed French Toast when my sweet tooth is calling me.

Coffee is delicious, food is served super quick. Reasonable prices. It's rare when we have to wait for a seat (usually when we do, it's because the area church just got out).

I highly recommend this place for the quality of food AND service!

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place before!  We have breakfast here often.
They have great service, its bright and clean, and solid food.  Just what you want on a Sunday.  Nothing fancy although they've been adding specials, turkey bacon, chicken sausage and veggie sausage.  Omelets with avocados!  You can get it all.  Good coffee too!
They also have some parking in the back and its easy to street park.
This is an easy breezy breakfast staple if you're not looking for fru-fru.

I was very impressed with this place.  I didn't expect to be impressed just by judging it's size from the outside walking in.  I just thought it was another average small corner cafe.  What we got was so much more.

I was in the neighborhood visiting a friend, we decided we wanted brunch on a Monday.  Saw this place on yelp, and liked what I saw when I glanced at menu and reviews so we decided to give it a try.

Modern but comfortable and relaxed interior.  Simple, but nice to look at.  Creative menu-board up front.

Server was nice, attentive, cute personality.  Never had an empty glass, didn't even have to ask for my hot sauce.  Nicely done.

Menu was surprising for the size of this place.  Lots of choices, but its not JUST quantity, it's quality too!  Even a red-velvet french toast made out of their red-velvet doughnuts!  Creative choices all around.

The food I ordered, Corned Beef Hash Benedict, was great!  Perfectly portioned, amazing price.  My only critique would be the hollandaise sauce.  Not surprising as I'm VERY picky about my hollandaise.  It has to be a PERFECT balance of the butter and lemon flavors.  Many places tend to lean too far in one direction or the other.  In this case, it was just a tad too far on the lemon side, but still good enough for me to eat.

I checked in on Yelp when I was there, and they gave me a free red velvet doughnut!  It was AMAZING!

I love The Windy City Cafe, and will definitely be returning!
