Overall disappointed. I like the location and what they have done with the place. Parking is a problem. Don't believe the website that says you can park across the street, they boot. Also, the food was just okay. Nothing special and very salty and greasy. The fries were the best thing at our table but really not much different than the Varsity's. Our server was great and it looks like they have the ability but just lack the something special that makes me want to go back.

This place is awesome.. They brew their own delicious beer and they make some pretty amazing bar food to boot.  What's not to love.

I was able to sample three of their IPA's.  They were all very high quality.  Like, if they bottled their beer and I could buy it in Brooklyn, I would add their beer to the list that I like to have in my house.

I started with this dish called, pig three ways I believe.. Or something to that affect.. It was pork belly and cheek slow cooked in a bacon beer sauce.. There were also some onions and looked like beautiful baby carrots.   The sauce was really nicely done.. The pork belly was super crispy on the outside, the cheek was really nicely braised. All of this was topped with perhaps 12 strips of super crispy, perfectly fried pig ears.  The pig ears were good on their own but, have them softened a bit in the pork beer sauce.. Oh baby, that was nice.

I ended with their burger.. It's a really nice bar burger.. It was very well seasoned, I tasted a lot of salt.  I passed on the french fries and asked them for a side of Kimchi Kale.  This was surprisingly delicious.  It was super strong.. Like, if you don't love ginger, I would not order this.. I believe the side at the restaurant was only 3 bucks.   It tasted pretty close to authentic kimchi, perhaps slightly stronger if that is possible.

They also make their own pastrami which I will be back to try.

Bartender was also really nice, competent, friendly.  The space is housed in a pretty old building.  One thing I noticed that was awesome. .I was traveling on business and needed to charge my phone.. They have electrical outlets lining the bar where your knees are. So, you can charge your phone and not have to bother the bartender.

Great beer, delicious food, terrific place.

This place has some really fantastic food to go along with fantastic beers. Had the burger, bratwurst and pastrami, all exceeded expectations.  We went on a Saturday and really enjoyed the beer tour. Ian was entertaining and really had the guests engaged. Stephenson gave us a tour of the upstairs as we were passing by. It is the type place where all people can enjoy, the staff is very professional, and really care about the products they serve.  Highly recommend you gather up some friends and visit.
