Yo-Joes Red Hots

Even though I have lived in the neighborhood for years this was my first time trying this place.

First star is for the price. My friend and I stopped in and ordered two hot dogs (which comes with free fries) and two Cheese burgers (We were hungry!). We also got free pops all for $14.

Second star is for the guy working there. He was wearing a Cubs hat so in my book that's an automatic star and he was really nice. He was there by himself and he took the order and made the food fairly quick.

Third star is for them having a the lottery there. I was able to get my food and cash in a lottery ticket.

Overall the food was decent (kinda hard to mess up burgers, hot dogs, and fries), but the portions were smaller than normal which why I'm guessing it is super cheap.
I will probably revisit again, but not go out of my way for.

The hotdog was bleh and ill never try it again.. Service was fast but nothing really to bring me back. If you can't get a simple hotdog right, then i probably won't trust anything else you got going

Real solid joint on a far away, western stretch on Addison.

Get the dog combo. It's about $2.72 or something and then get a large drink. Can't beat it. Classic Chicago joint.

Would I come back again? Probably not. But it ain't bad and it definitely represents all that is Chicago.
