I went here after work one Friday with a few coworkers.  It's kind of a strange location as it's in the first floor of a hotel.  The bar atmosphere was decent, though it would've been much nicer in warm weather where we could sit outside or by open windows.
Our server was nice enough.  I believe she said it was her first week, and she did a pretty good job.  I am pretty sure she brought me the wrong beer for round 1, but it was hard to be sure, since it was draft beer.  The following 2 rounds were the right one though.
We split a few appetizers, mostly chips and dips, and they were pretty standard.  To be expected.
I've also been to Bar Louie in the Promenade in Bolingbrook as well as downtown Naperville.  I'd say the Bar Louie in Oak Brook is a level between the other two.  The Bolingbrook location is giant, and a better dining atmosphere.  Downtown Naperville is crammed, has awful clientele, and is much more of a bar atmosphere.
Overall I'd say the Oak Brook Bar Louie is OK, and I'll likely go back again, but mostly because it's close to work.

Very small bar hidden away in a hotel. Food is great no doubt about that. Great to come watch a sports game. Trio dips and chips, buffalo chicken flatbreads were great to start off! I had the blue louie burger and it was a bit salty but overall good. Good service, not the best, I wish the servers were more friendly and talked more than just take your order.

I actually really liked this Bar Louie.  I think I like it better than the one in Oak Park.  It's smaller and has more of an intimate atmosphere which I like.  They also have a nice beer selection which we all know will bring the Rosie to the yard.  :0)

It is confusing to get to though.  You gotta go all around the lobby of the hotel to get there. And I think it's by the pool so be prepared to be bombarded by the smell of cholorine.  The parking lot is also a bit of a bleep show.  So if you're gonna stunt be sure to park your car far off so it doesn't come back dented.

But getting back to the space itself.  I think it's very grown and sexy.  Darker lighting, not a lot of booths.  Very quaint.  This would be a nice place for a first date.  They do try to sell it as a sports bar but I don't think they can.  Especially with the Tilted Kilt being so close.

The food is ok.  It's Bar Louie food.  So the same thing you got at the last BL you were at is the same stuff you'll find at this one.  Nothing more nothing less.

Bottom line this is a date spot.  If you and your people are trying to kick it take it to Tilted Kilt.

New Years Eve stink! Decent evening until the DJ's drunk girlfriend puked all over the place and NO ONE cleaned it up. The staff walked past it numerous times, and worse, they let customers walk right thru it. Their solution...surround it by chairs and leave it for everyone to smell. It was close to closing time so it wasn't like they were too busy to clean it up. Was there not a manager on duty? Shameful and disgusting!!

Worst Place EVER!!  Waited on pre-ordered lunch 30 minutes to be served.  Then had a dead grasshopper in my caesar salad.  No one apologized, meal was comp'd but NO apologies!!!!!  Disgusting, waiters were rude.  Do not go!

I had to visit this Bar Louie for two reasons.  One, I wanted to compare this location to the one I always go to in Arcadia, CA, and two, it was conveniently located in the lobby of the hotel I was staying in.

I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon back in September and enjoyed Chicago's Goose Island Green Line beer and an order of the "trio" chips and dips.  Mindy, the bartender, was attentive and sweet.  She made sure to acknowledge everyone who sat at the bar and take down their orders within a decent amount of time, even though it was getting pretty busy for the Chicago Bear's game.

Although this Bar Louie is a lot smaller than the one I frequent in Arcadia, CA, the bar itself looks pretty much the same.  Wish the one in CA offered those Chicago-brewed beers though!

Not bad. Pseudo-corporate type bar/grill.  The service is pretty good and friendly as long as it isn't too busy.  During "rush" times it gets a little disorganized.  The food is pretty good, above average for bar food i'd say.  Kind of sterile atmosphere but a lot of people like that kind of thing.

I ordered the southwest burger and the meat was burnt. I felt like I was getting cancer from the first couple bites I took. Blech. I asked for it to be cooked medium but they obviously just threw it in a fire pit and took it out charred beyond recognition lol. The fries were delicious though :) we also ordered an appetizer but the server forgot to put it in so that was a bust... But she did apologize nicely so that was forgiven. Just the burger.... That was unforgivable.

The atmosphere is classy but yet fun. I had the chicken nachos and their sangria and they were absolutely delicious. I am super picky about sangria, and they marked the spot, but beware if you don't like cherries, because there are tons of them in the sangria. If you're looking for a great place to pregame or lounge at with some friends and drinks this is a great place to go to.

I have not tried the food here so my review is on a late night 1 drink with the guys after eating somewhere else experience. It was a warm and breezy Saturday night. After hangin out with friends at Tilted Kilt Next door.. we walked on over. Inside its dark, trendy and a bit cozy. there is a central bar layout with curved booths along the wall, there is also a patio option.. but the table cleaning gets overlooked if its busy... One thing I do like is the 14 oz or short beer option.. I know most places offer this.. but sometimes a tall beer is too filling, and a short is just right for that time of the night before you call it quits.. I would come back if people wanted to meet here.. just hope its not super packed..

Ambiance is great. Service was excellent. Food and drinks were moderately priced.  Lots of tvs around if you want to catch a game, yet not too loud so you can still have conversations with your party.
