I would like to start by saying I never complain about going out to eat, because working in the food industry myself, I know it's hard to please everyone. I have went to this establishment a number of times and got varying levels of service from the waiters, but yesterday, we got the worst. First, we asked to be seated in the dining area by the bar and pointed to the area, but the host seated us, in the booth closest to the door, nowhere near where we asked. There were plenty of seats open where we asked. We kept getting mounds of cold air on us every time the door opened, especially when it didn't shut properly and hung open for a minute before closing. Next, onto our waitress, Patty Visa. When asking her what kind of cheese came on the nachos, either the melted shredded or liquid, she responded "queso cheese." Also, my drink was empty for 10-15 minutes before the waitress came by. I would understand if the place was busy, but on multiple occasions in the 10-15 minutes I saw the Patty standing around talking with her co-workers. When I asked for another drink as well as the check, I did get my drink quickly, but the check never came. After waiting for the check for 20 minutes, we had to ask the host for it as we couldn't find the waitress to flag her down. When we asked the host for the check, and the time we waited, we overheard another employee state "It would be Patty..."
Review Source:Came here on a late Wednesday night and got their $.75 leg special. These are drum stick legs that were a pretty good size but unfortunately, like all of their other wings...were quite dry. I think this place needs a bit of help figuring out how to perfect cooking wings cuz every time I come here, the wings are super dry on the outside...so dry that it hurts my mouth when I eat. Even the sauce you can choose to get the wings tossed in doesn't help too much because it's inconsistent...sometimes you get a lot of sauce on the wings and other times not enough.
I keep coming just because it's convenient, have a delicious mango/strawberry margarita, and their fries and nachos aren't bad.
It's consistently clean, has tons of tvs and lots of space to watch sports.
What can you say. Â It's a BW3 although this one is way nicer than most I have been to. Â Decent spot to grab beer and watch some sports in Evanston. Â I usually pop in during football and UFC matches.
Can get busy in here with the NW crowd. Â Not a huge fan of their wings. Â I think the most underrated dish on the menu is the Buffalitos. Â Basically soft tacos and you can choose your sauce. Â Pretty filling dish. Â Also like the fried pickles here as well.
