Great place.  Not sure why all the negative reviews.  Very clean, helpful staff, and pizza was decent.  Can't expect much more for a kids place.  Our 2 year old had a great time

I need to start by saying that this is the best Chuck-E-Chees ever!

I know they are all the same.  Terrible pizza, a less-than-mediocre salad bar, disgustingly dirty games, etc.  (However, this one was less dirty than most I have been to.)  Let's be real though, you don't come here for the food.  You come to get your gaming on!

The highlight of this place is the split levels.  You have to order your food, tokens, etc. from the first lever.  But, if you so desire, you can sit upstairs.  They will still bring your food to you, it is still safely contained within the restaurant, and you have a view of Centennial Lakes Park.  Not bad for an adult!

Now, I don't get to Chuck-E-Cheese that often.  But, this one seemed to have more and better games than others I have been to.  Maybe because it is in Edina?  Either way, the prices are standard.  (If you join their email club, they send you monthly discounts.)

If you find that you have to go to Chuck-E-Chees for any reason, go to this one.  We both know that neither one of us is dying to go here, but if you need to, this one has the edge.

Why isn't this place cooler? Literally.

I'd like to thank the parents of all of my kids' friends for never hosting a birthday party here.  I don't care about the pizza (which I didn't try) or even the noise level (crazy loud, but expected)  What kills me is the air conditioning.  I only went to CEC for the air conditioning.  And it failed me.

The kids had fun, the grandparents seemed fine.  The crowd was fine.  The games were fine (skeeball!)  But subpar air conditioning = I'm not going back, not unless it is a drop off party.

We have not been to chuck e cheese in a year, but the last time we went the pizza was basically like eating a stale loose leaf folder. The games are really a rip-off and prizes are like junk from a garage sale in South America. They let way too many kids in the food area. If they improve the pizza, i might take the kids back. The games are fun, but overpriced. Why can't they get some real prizes that kids can use ? and are affordable. The cake is so-so.

My 4-year old had a wonderful time at a birthday party here.  I found the place incredibly overstimulating, but the kids seem to love it. The only quiet place was the bathroom - which incidentally was on the gross side (even for a place that caters to kids). Really sticky floors, mess of soap by the sink, full trash cans, and I won't even get into the toilets.

There's a great Kiddie Land for the younger toddlers, with easy games and rides set away from the older kids.  They have an efficient birthday party set-up and a kid-friendly pizza and chocolate cake menu.

My one complaint on the birthday area is that the tables are very close together, and many simultaneous birthday parties are really packed in.  The kids don't seem to mind being overcrowded, but it's tough on the servers and parents. My daughter had such a great time here that I'm sure some day it'll be my turn to host a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese.  I can't say I'm looking forward to it, but what doesn't kill me...and so on.

Had the boys' birthday party here (their birthdays are a day apart so we celebrate them on the same day) ... booked everything on-line, got a confirmation call on the Friday before the party, everything was set, right?  Well, sort of.  There was a bit of a line out front as people were getting checked in and out so we had to wait a while.  When we got inside, they had only set up for one birthday boy.  The other one said, "Where's my balloon?!"  We told the host who said he'd take care of it, but didn't.  He did bring out the tokens, but he was harried - running from table to table.  I felt sorry for him.  After waiting for about 30 mins, though, we asked someone when the food would arrive.  Apparently, you're supposed to go play games for 45 mins and then they bring the food out ... but our host forgot to tell us because he was so busy.  To make up for it, they gave us some extra tokens.  They also got the poor guy some more help.  After that, everything went really smoothly.  I could tell that they really wanted to make sure we were happy with the birthday party.

The last time I was at Chuck E Cheese was probably about 6 years ago or so.  I remembered the pizza tasting like cardboard and the cake being not much better.  The food has definitely improved.  The pizza, while still not great, is edible and the chocolate cake really tastes like chocolate!  Overall, I was impressed with Chuck E Cheese and how they have improved.  The birthday child gets: extra tokens, an inflatable crown, a medal, and a big balloon to take home.  The birthday package includes 2 slices of pizza per child (more than enough for us), drinks (free refills), and tokens.  You can bring your own cake & ice cream (no other food allowed) or have them provide it.  They also do gift bags, which is really nice.  Everything was organized well and the boys had a blast.  Thanks, Chuck E Cheese, for making it a day to remember for them!
