The Corner Office

I've always had a good experience at this place... Until today. I went for happy hour after a conference and waited 5 minutes near the door before I finally went up to the bar to ask if there was a hostess. The bartender said "yep she'll be back in a few minutes" and went back to what he was doing. A server finally came up and sat us. We waited about 10 more minutes before she came back and asked if we had been helped. Our drinks took about 20 minutes and she apologized saying it was a new drink menu and the bartender had to learn how to make our martinis. The drinks and appetizers were great but when it was time to pay, the server said she couldn't split our check. So, we had to manually add how much we owed and write down amounts on the back of the check to pay with 3 separate cards. This of course took more time and was quite a hassle. As always, the food and drinks were good but the (lack of) service was frustrating. Especially since it didn't seem all that busy.

Been here twice now - once for a quick drink following the Blue Man Group, and on 4th July. The drinks are delicious, and wonderfully cold - cosmo 1st time, fig martini (riddling fig) 2nd time - loved them both, but the fig was a really nice change from your usual sort of cocktails, and just what I was looking for.

Menu looks great, but both times have been here really late in the evening, and although tempted to try the happy hour menu (prices are really great) we've already eaten by the time we've been here. Will be coming back to test out the food and more unique cocktails!

Stopped in for a quick drink. The martinis were good and so was the service. What more could you ask for?!
