CW Napkin used to be on Sheridan Rd years ago. It WAS the best BBQ chix and ribs. Half a slab with 4 pieces of chicken...yumm, yumm. Fornello at Red Line on Irving Pk Rd delivers the menu now. Different ribs with only 2 pieces of chicken, fried and dipped in bbq sauce. If you see a c.w. napkin menu, you can just toss it. The number is to Fornello. I am giving it one star because I have to.
Review Source:Guess I should have read these reviews before ordering last night. After our estimated delivery time was well exceeded, I called to check on the status of our order. The person who answered the phone was extremely rude to me. When the food was finally dropped off (delivery man - very polite), we were unpleasantly surprised to find that neither of our pasta orders had the side of "fresh garlic bread" they were supposed to come with, which is $3 on the menu if you order as a side.
We paid $4 to add "4 meatballs" - and there were 2. The ravioli was said to come with "9 jumbo cheese filled raviolis to an order". There were 5. Both orders of chicken tenders were dry and chewy, a bit like chewing on straw.
Needless to say, that was our first and last order from CW napkin. Word of mouth can do a lot of damage to a restaurant in Chicago, and that doesn't bode well for this place.
I heard so many great things about  this place but we ordered ribs and pizza and both were awful. The ribs were super tough with almost no meat on each bone, and the pizza came almost cold. We thought the nice thing about them would be the huge menu but it appears that by offering so many different things they probably do none of them well. Plus, the delivery time was incredibly long.
Totally overpriced for food most street vendors would be ashamed to sell. So bummed since I expected such great things from this place.
Like Paul F, I've noticed a difference in the quality of service over the past year or so. Â I have been ordering from CW for nearly 7 years now. Â Their service was always great. Â They used to get the orders right and quoted short delivery times and the food almost always arrived well before the estimated time. Â Now, completely different. Â Most recently, I ordered food and was quoted a 45 min delivery time. Â 75 mins later and still no food. Â When I called to find out where my food was, I was told that someone lost the ticket and the food was just now going out the door. Â First, no one called me to let me know that my order was never made and whether I still wanted it. Â Second, there was no apology or offer to make up for the issue. Â The quality of my food has always been good, but clearly there's new ownership that does not care about service and hence it has been lacking. Â If you don't mind getting an incorrect order from time to time or not getting your food until nearly an hour after it was supposed to be delivered, then go for it. Â Otherwise, there's plenty of other places to get food and I will surely be doing that from now. Â In fact, I have already deleted CW from my cell.
Review Source:I have been buying food from this company for over 25 years now...but over the past 6 months or so I've notice a shift in the quality of food as well astute phone personal today 1/4 I ordered food...as the driver handed the food over... The bottom f the food full of red sauce  broke through and all over my floor...if that wasn't bad enough...I was told my total was 21.43 and when the driver got here it all of a sudden became 23.01....and then the food was cold...I called and asked for the manager and spoke to Nick... Not only was he unapologetic and had no remedy to my problem other then to call the owner... Now I believe it's new owners because when I asked if it was Mike...the owner I knew...he said he was no longer there...now I know why everything is different...I will no longer buy from CW Napkin ...after 25 years...it's a shame.
