Surprisingly good, creative pizza and salad. Deafening din, unfortunately.

Our favorite pizza place. We lived up on the harvest salad then BBQ chicken pizza and the Bronx Bomber. Awesome. Service here is always good. The wait is always the down side, the waiting area is small, wait is usually long.

Never had a bad experience or a pizza that I didn't like. The calzones and salads are excellent also. I have now had every salad they offer and they are all good. The pizza crust is A-one,not too heavy, not too thin. The pepperoni may be a little spicier than a lot of other places but certainly not a deal-breaker. The places tend to get pretty busy at premium restaurant times and you may encounter a wait. The bar area is small but carries a decent selection of craft beers on tap Service has always been excellent.

Being a fan authentic New York style pizza and living in the Cincinnati area is challenging at times to find a good slice or pie. So I decided to try Dewey's out while shopping over in Crestview Hills and it was good! I ordered a cheese pie and smashed and would eat here again... http://www.djskillz.com

Grabbed lunch here around noon and had a great experience. A friend and I easily shared their 13" Southwest BBQ Chicken pizza and each had a Bell's Oberon beer for lunch. The lunch hour was seat-yourself and the service was prompt and courteous. The pizza here has never let me down and I would recommend it if you need a quick place to go for lunch. Split the pizza and had a beer for $14/person before tip.

Good pizza. We had the Poe and one with mushrooms. They were wonderful. Great service as well. Would have liked to see eggplant on the pizza topping menu. It was my first time at Dewey's. Hope them expand.

Dewey's calzones have ruined me for calzones anywhere else. They are huge, and full of awesome toppings. I've never gotten a bad calzone here.

The service is always fast and friendly at this location. Hardly ever a wait for a table.

The pizza is good. I won't say it's better than pizza anywhere else, but it's never bad. I do like that they have a wider variety of toppings. I never would have thought to get pine nuts on a pizza, but they were delicious.

I grew up in the Northeast US which, in my humble opinion, is pizza heaven. I moved to Kentucky and found that I miss pizza because the stuff that many places serve just wasn't cutting it. Then I found Dewey's and my life (when it comes to pizza, at least) will never be the same.

Great crust, great toppings (I had a Ryan's Inferno which is buffalo chicken...my mouth is currently watering just thinking about it), great atmosphere, great service. This isn't 30 minute delivery pizza...this is pizza that must be enjoyed and savored. There's a small selection of beer and great salads.

Go. Stop what you're doing and go to Dewey's. It's lunch time right now...I'm not even going to finish this revi...

Great pizza, limited menu doesnt offer typical extras like wings and bread sticks, but does offer a lot of different toppings.

I've been here many times and have never had a bad experience. The only part that can be a let down is having to wait for a table. Because of that, I tend to plan my trips here ahead of time, and usually show up just before the dinner crowd hits. I pretty much get the same thing every time: a side house salad and the southwest BBQ chicken pizza. The salad ingredients are always fresh, and the mix of the tangy dressing with the goat cheese, pine nuts, and cranberries is wonderful. The pizza always has the perfect crust and correct ratios of sauce and topping, it's a really good balance. Occasionally I'll try one of the seasonal pizzas or salads, and they're always a hit. To drink, there's always a great selection of craft beers on tap. I always have a hard time making decisions, but a wheat beer tends to pair well with the house salad, while an IPA or pale ale goes great with any of their pizzas. The service is always fast and friendly. I never have to wait for water or beer refills, and the staff will really go out of their way to make an accommodation. The prices can be just a little on the high side, but you really are getting a good value. Don't forget to order extra when you come here too, because the pizza really reheats well in the oven. For a great combination of beer and pizza, you really can't beat Dewey's.

Dewey's never lets me down. For the pizza that is. The service is so-so at both locations I've been to. But I love that you can do half and half orders. They will automatically put lemon in your soda without asking, so you may want to curb that from the get-go if you are anti-lemon like me.
The seating is good, the lighting not so much. If you sit at a booth, someone has designed the table lamps so the bare bulb is right at eye level. Caution: may cause temporary blindness.
Moving on. The pizza is delicious. My fav is the white sauce with pesto, kalamata olives and smoked cheddar. It's a party in my tummy every time.
If you are extra hungry start with a salad, they are delicious too.
There are a billion choices for pizza in the area but Deweys comes up for us at least once a month.

I give deweys 5 stars over other places like mellow mushroom foe thee main reasons:

1. Consistently great service
2. Consistently great food
3. Price

Deweys always has friendly staff and is kid friendly, with quick food after ordering (a must with hungry tots). Plus, the crust is thin but the end is soft and fluffy like a yeast roll. The topping selection is bar none as well. As for salads, amazing and fresh. Best part is you can go on a date and spend around $25 and leave with leftovers.

While wandering around this alien land, I asked my boss "hey, what are you craving for dinner?" And my boss said, "hey holmes, I'm craving pizza, yo." So I pulled out Yelp and read the reviews on this place. I saw that they were decent, so decided to come here.

When we walked inside, we noticed there was a ton of people. The wait was 35 minutes and I was starving, but we decided "hey, since there are this many people around, it must be worth the wait."

When they sat us, we were impressed with how nice everyone was. We ordered a 17" pizza, half bacon/pepperoni/mixed mushrooms and half feta cheese/pepperoni/red peppers. This pizza was amazing! It was almost heart-stoppingly-breath-taking. It was beautiful! It really was. What I really enjoyed, though, was how quick the waitresses returned to refill drinks!

I would recommend this place. It is amazing!

Nice upscale pizza place. Not the best I have ever had but inventive toppings and a friendly staff make it worth more then 1 trip.

This is the best pizza I've ever had. Eat it. Love it. Live it.

This has got to be the most overrated pizza place ever. The crust is so-so and the toppings are what you'd find at your local Papa Johns. I'm still trying to find out how this place is so highly rated. You can do much better at Chinnatis (underrated deep dish), Mios, Werkhaus, or Betta's to name a few.

Dewey's is quite simply the best pizza in Cincinnati, and maybe in the entire Midwest.

They don't make the mistake so many restaurants do, loading their menu with three pages of crap they can't hope to make properly and consistently. You can get a salad, a pizza, or a calzone. That's it. Choose a specialty pizza or make your own from their extensive list of standard or gourmet toppings. They have seasonal salads and seasonal pizzas that change relatively frequently, and are always a bit quirky. The crust is medium to thin in thickness with just the right amount of chewiness. Both the red and white sauces and flavorful and the toppings are always fresh and loaded up. The salads are really great, too; try my favorite, the House: mixed greens, goat cheese, pine nuts, cranberries, balsamic - it's divine.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention their beer selection. They always have several local beers on tap (normally a Rivertown or a Mt Caramel) and they change their list up on a regular basis so there's always something new to try. Craft staples like Bells, Dogfish, Schlafly, Victory, Smuttynose, Founders, and Rogue are in heavy rotation. The only downside is coming here for lunch and not being able to order a beer because I'm headed back to the office.

Service at Dewey's is maybe best described as swarm-style. Any server can and will bring drinks, take orders, get refills, and settle up. In general, this means there's always someone nearby to help out if you are in need.

Great food, great beer, and service modeled after a zerg rush. What's not to love?

This is my go-to Dewey's location, and not only because I work near here. I can count on good service, a varied and ever-changing beer selection, and always delicious pizza and salads. Yeehaw!

My favorites are Hawaiian, Southwestern BBQ Chicken, pepperoni, and white sauce pizzas.

Kind of a "upscale" Pizza joint. Great Pizza, Great salads and Great scenery but dont expect to get wings, garlic bread or bread sticks. Nice selection of Beers and one of the best Pizzas you can buy in NKY!

I usually love Dewey's pizza and the service is usually very good. The Crestview Hills location usually gets the food right but the service has been lacking. On my last visit our server would just drop the food and leave to return only at the very end of the meal asking if we needed refills on drinks. On the other hand, the servers trying to clear plates hovered over us. None asked if we needed a refill, just whether we were finished. The restaurant was busy when we arrived but for most of the time we were waiting for a table, there were as many people waiting for tables as people seated and eating. They saved a big table for a large party. I don't think all the people in the party ever arrived.

Go to Dewey's for the good and creative pizza. Just go to a different location.

I love pizza that is well-made and creative. Dewey's nails the latter, but definitely not the former.

I've had Dewey's pizza twice, each at a different location. This spot in the Crestview Towne Center is no different in quality than the other I had been to: creative pies with awesome toppings... served room temperature. I don't understand how from being made to being at our table can result in our pies not being hot.

Maybe I love my pizza to be burn-the-roof-of-your-mouth HOT! and maybe that's the New Yorker in me, but I have yet to be completely satisfied by Dewey's at this location or at others.

What can be said about Dewey's?

It's pretty much universally seen as a "younger, but still cool" kind of pizza parlor. They have a great selection, consisting of some more unusual toppings and ingredients that you won't find at your local Dominos. I like the goat cheese, myself.

Dewey's pizzas definitely do not have that "mass produced" sort of taste. Everything tastes fresh, because it was made fresh. That can be a bit of a double eged-sword though, because you pay a small premium. My suggestion: get a calzone. They're significantly cheaper, and are practically two meals by themselves.

I prefer this Dewey's over the other on the Levee as it's much less crowded, more convenient, and the service faster. Of course if you're already at the Levee, might as well check out their location there.

Pardon me - I have a calzone to eat.

The best pizza. Fantastic salads too. I prefer the "white sauce" pizzas over the red sauce. In fact, I tend to prefer red sauce pizza such as LaRosa's over Dewey's red sauce.

However, I would take Dewey's white sauce pizza over any other pizza in Cincinnati.

Like Karina mentioned, the entrance is in a funny place, but that doesn't seem to keep the place from being busy on a weekday at noon. I didn't have to wait for a table, but those behind me probably had to choose whether to wait for a booth or table or sit at the bar.

I thought the Caprice pizza was one of the best I have had. Fresh tomato slices, garlic, olive oil, basil and fontina-mozzarella cheese on a hand tossed crust. The house salad is excellent, too, with pine nuts, goat cheese and cranberries.

Like I said, it's a busy place which means it's kind of noisy. But the service is good and the prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes.

Don't be a confused first-time visitor like we were. The entrance is not in the front (as one would logically expect) but on the side facing Dillards.

Dewey's pizzas are some of the best in the area, with a near-perfect crust and gourmet toppings. I love that all pizzas can be split with two different sets of toppings on them. We went with the Hawaiian and Bronx Bomber (pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, and black olives).

Their salads are as yummy as their pizzas. The side salad is really large enough to be an entree, so if you plan to eat pizza you may want to share a side salad with a friend. The Regular salads can be split as an entree between two people or as a side salad among three or four folks. My personal fave is the Peppercorn Ranch.
