Ok, I have eaten at Max & Ermas at Crestview Hills a few times, and usually the food is good, and the service is too. Â On this Wednesday night, I was excited to try their Brat Burger on a Pretzel bun. Â When my burger was served, it wasn't on a pretzel bun, and after the first bite, the brat was pink in the middle. Â I am not sure what @$$ hat they had working in the kitchen, but I could have gotten sick had I eaten too much of the burger. Â The manager gave us a bunch of gift cards to make up for the poor experience, and typically I wouldn't mention this. Â The bottom line is this. Â I will go back to Max & Ermas but you have been warned, if you order the Brat Burger. Cut it in half and make sure it is properly cooked. Â You might end up with Trichinosis if you don't.
Review Source:I enjoy coming to Max & Ermas. It is simple food & not too pricey. It is typically American Fare so nothing here is super unique, but some dishes have an interesting flare. I normally range from getting any one of the awesome salads, the burgers or chicken dishes. I think my favorite items are the fresh baked cookies or the chocolate cake. Both are very good and enough to share but only if you feel like it :)
Review Source:I like Max and Ermas, but I was very disappointed when I arrived with a small party (5) one Sunday afternoon, hoping to
grab a quick lunch. They said it would be less than 10 minutes until they had a table, but we were still waiting after approxately 20! Several parties who arrived after us were seated before us , and when I walked through the restaurant to the restroom I was disappointed to see many tables available. We had simply been ignored or overlooked. It's not bad American fare, but this particular restaurant doesn't seem to be run very well!
