Miyako

The sushi was good, but the menu was on the expensive side. I will go back during 1/2 price sushi or with another coupon. Would not pay full price

I like Miyako a lot BUT it can be a real hit or miss proposition when it come to the sushi.  I've had the absolute best scallop sashimi there on one day and then a couple of weeks later it was simply so-so. The ydo have some interesting rolls and usually the presentation is exceptional. The hibachi is fairly standard though they do push the saki quite a bit which makes the price feel a bit easier to handle. I'd say it is a notch above Mt. Fuji wrt the hibachi and a notch below a few places in terms of sushi.

I put this place a notch above the average sushi place. Some very original rolls and interesting appetizers. I have no problem putting it in my top sushi places I've been to in NKY.
