We recently tried Flemings for our anniversary dinner.  I must say this may have been the best meal and service we have ever received.  We were greeted by a wonderful hostess (Alyssa)  who was very friendly and immediately put us in a great mood.  This experience was enhanced further when our waitress (Abbey) came to our table and was the nicest  and most knowledgeable waitress ever.  The meal was delicious.  The filet melted in your mouth, the halibut was perfect, the Flemings potatoes were divine.  To top it off the manager Mark came over to make sure everything was great.  He is a very nice man who is working hard and succeeding at making Flemings a premier restaurant.  Oh and to top it off the Lava cake is to die for.
Review Source:So...in an effort to build its clientele, Flemings invited a lawyer friend from a local law firm to a free dinner, who in turn invited his girlfriend, the fiancee and I. Score!
All four us indulged in $450 worth of fine dining. Yikes!
We were treated to:
A seafood tower - yuuuumm!
A burrata salad
2 prime bone-in rib eyes with sides - steaks are bigger than your face!
A fillet Mignon
A steak and scallop chef's special - so damn delicious!
A chocolate lava cake - holy mother of god, this was heavenly!
An in-house made carrot cake - the frosting was amazing!
& a bottle of wine.
(Of course, we added a round of drinks)
Our waiter was super attentive & the operating partner came by a few times to introduce himself and check in to ensure we were doing ok. Quality.
We were informed of their daily $6 happy hour specials, which includes their normally-priced $14 burger. Definitely gotta check that out.
Fleming's has definitely changed for the better since my last visit. From being immediately greeted by friendly staff upon entering to being served by multiple knowledgeable and caring staff throughout the entire night, my experience at Fleming's this time far exceeded my expectations.
It seems like during the month that elapsed since my last visit, Fleming's has truly found their niche and has successfully fine-tuned their ambiance (there was light music playing in the background and the mood was much more casual and jovial) and service (our server was very personable and nice, and I noticed that the other servers around my general vicinity were also very cordial and amicable with their guests). This visit has changed my perception of Fleming's and I can say with confidence that I will be back-- if not for the bone-in ribeye, then for the overall great dining experience.
I'm torn - I'm not confident the snapper I had was snapper, but it was quite possibly the best fish I've ever had, and the creme brulee was also exquisitely aromatic.
Despite the goodness of the food, most of it was forgettable, and I couldn't shake the feeling that the price point was due to BH property values, and not the excellence of the meal.
Flemings is a revelation amidst the typical Beverly Hills steakhouse scene. Â Impeccable service, a top notch kitchen with an amazing array of delectables that would make even the great Wolfgang Puck blush, and a monstrous, yet totally accessible wine list, all combine to create a seamless and sophisticated dining experience.
These guys hit the ground running in a neighborhood packed with culinary heavyweights within mere walking distance and they, my friends, are firing on all cylinders.
Lets face it - they did not in any way invent the wheel, but these guys know how to roll and they roll hard.
I went here for dinner with someone who had a $50 gift certificate (which, incidentally, had expired). Â In any event, here is what I will tell you about our dining experience: Â (1) inattentive service, (2) horrible ambience and (3) subpar food. Â The ambience is worth expanding upon. Â First, the music was BLASTING, and I'm sorry, I'm all for alternative music, but the music station seemed really strange for this restaurant. Â (Let's be serious, Fleming's is not hip - don't even try, please.) Â Second, it was FREEZING in the dark cave (aka back room) where we were sitting. Â I had to complain to no less than four people before anything was done about the literally below-zero temperature. Â Our waiter was pretty much nowhere to be found after taking our order. Â The food was not even mediocre. Â Do yourself a favor, do not eat here. Â If you're really craving a steak, head over to Mastro's or Ruth's Chris, both of which are within walking distance.
Review Source:If only there were more than 5 stars to show how awesome our experience was at this Flemings!!
From the time we walked in, until the time we walked out they treated us with nothing but first class. Â
The food was not to be outdone by the service, as the food was FANTASTIC. Â
Def will be back!!!
Quick, accommodating service. Â Online reservations were made, and honored on the dot. Â Good quality beef, cooked accordingly to taste. Â
However, I would not order their cocktails. Â Mixers are still used in their drinks; overly sweet.
Public parking available adjacent to the restaurant. Â Free 2 hours if you enter before 6pm.
Great spot for steak and wine!
I'm not one to go to Beverly Hills for dinner. Â Just not really my vibe and wondered if I would feel out of place. However, I decided to try Fleming's out and I'm so glad I did!
First of all, parking can be a pain (the norm in 90210). Luckily, I found a metered spot on Beverly. Otherwise, there are some $5 or $7 lots around the block. Fleming's also has valet for $7, so you might as well do that.
SERVICE: We were greeted by the friendly hostesses and sat immediately. The atmosphere was nice. I knew I wasn't in the Valley anymore, but I also didn't feel like a fish out of water. Â Our waitress was very friendly and showed us the tablet with the wine selections. Â They have a huge wine selection. Was a bit overwhelming, but we were helped by the knowledgeable staff. Â I wish I remembered which one I had a glass of!
FOOD: First of all, the free bread was divine. It comes with two spreads (I think a garlic one and a tomato one). I am not ashamed to say that I asked for more bread (TWICE). Whatever. I love bread. We ordered the crab cakes, which were divine. For dinner, I had the Porcini rubbed filet mignon. He had the main filet mignon. Both were succulent, but I'd recommend the Porcini one... loved the flavor. Â I also preferred the garlic mashed potatoes to the Fleming's Potatoes (which have a kick of jalapeno).
For anyone who's looking for a fancy dinner out in Beverly Hills without feeling like Julia Roberts did on Rodeo Drive in Pretty Woman, I highly recommend Fleming's! Â It's not too uppity/formal, but still classy and elegant. Put on your new outfit and treat yourself.
I will be back to try the Happy Hour!
Hmmm....love flemings happy hours but this new location is a miss for me.
Parking in free lot on Beverly near Dayton for 3 hours fyi. The decor is different than the other FLemings and it is more dark and has a lack of energy. The menu and food are comparable to the others and the service was fine. Just not a fan of the ambiance and decor.
I recently went to this Fleming's location 1 month ago to celebrate my mom's birthday. I had been to another Fleming's location and was happy with the service and the food. Â We decided to try this one out since it was closer to our house. Â The inside decor is nice and dim - not too bright. Â We started out by telling our server that we were there to celebrate our mom's birthday and that's when it started. Â We weren't very hungry but were going to order a bunch of appetizers and dessert. Â The server would not stop pushing food items that were specials (more $$$$ of course) for the night. Â One of us wanted to order a glass of wine and he said we should get the bottle. Â He kept pushing us to order more food throughout the night. Â We felt so pressured, we ended up ordering more food than we wanted, including 2 entree dishes he said were amazing which were not. Â
What a mistake!! Why come here when Mastro's is down the street!!!
I like the vibe of this place, it's definitely more of a restaurant for regular Americans who want to eat in a nice upscale restaurant, not for yuppies who like all sorts of pretentious shit. It's more white people from Valencia than yuppies from Santa Monica. But that said, the food is excellent and the service is really good.
I had the main filet and it was cooked perfectly and very juicy and tender and flavor full. I asked for some chimmichurri sauce because I love that stuff (all the sauces are complementary) and it made it even better, although it could definitely be eaten on its own without any sauce.
And get this: it was my birthday, and they gave me a $25 dollar gift card and a box of chocolate truffles at the end of the meal.
That's pretty cool. Â I came here initially because someone gave me a gift certificate, but with the right group for the right occasion I'd definitely come back.
First off let me start by stating that this place is no Mastro's. It's not even Applebee's. Hell I wouldn't even give this place the consideration to  compare it to Sizzler. Not because the food sucked but rather because the service sucked. It sucked majorly. So Saturday night we go to Flemings to check out this new steakhouse in Beverly Hills. The place was somewhat busy but nothing out of it out-of-control. There wasn't large line or a massive amount of Patrons waiting for table. We were seated very quickly by very courteous staff, We placed our order, And that was the last we saw our waitress for the next hour. 58 minutes later the manager comes and apologizes to us about our food not being ready. By then we were ready to leave. Maybe I could have a better review for this place if I knew what the food tasted like. In any event, why go  anywhere else other when there is  Mastro's. Â

What a great marketing scheme ($50 dining credit) to offer during its grand opening tour...and it worked (look at all the yelp reviews!).
I took advantage of the $50 dining credit in additional to the AMEX deal, and me and the gf ended up going to Fleming's TWICE in one week. I'll combine my review, but our first experience was definitely more exciting than the second. Why? Customer service. Our waiter the 2nd time around didn't seem like he cared much...I mean you have to act a certain way working for a steakhouse, but the experience should still be comfortable and fun!
Enough about the customer service, what about the food?
All in all, we ordered:
1. Bone-in Rib-Eye - best piece of meat I've ever had in my life. Hands down.
2. Macaroni - Good for the first few bites...then it gets repetitive.
3. Pan crisped pork belly - it literally melts in your mouth. Not sure about the chutney and grits that come with it though.
4. Filet Mignon - Nothing special. Just go for the bone-in rib-eye.
I guess there is a certain atmosphere that you expect to join when you go to a high-end steakhouse...I was never the biggest fan of that environment. But if you are a waiter here, you should at least smile and make it a "happy" experience for every consumer. The grand opening promotions here definitely made the meal(s) a steal, but would I come back again? Only for that bone-in rib-eye.
I took advantage of their $50 dinner credit. Ordered the crab cakes appetizer, salad & small plate filet mignon which came to $50.40 Everything was excellent...the steak melts in your mouth. The service & attentiveness is excellent...I believe 7 different people waited on me! Truly feel special.
Keith is excellent, attention to personal detail preferences is superb. He timed the delivery of my steak perfectly, even keeping in mind my time restraints. In fact, asked often how I was doing on timing....personally took me back to show where the restroom was. After server sprinkled ground pepper on my salad, Keith was quick to brush it off the table. I have experienced 4 star restaurants like Patina at Walt Disney Concert Hall, this had a bit of similar feel.

Fleming is the newest steakhouse in the block, just steps away from Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.
[Parking] - $7 valet or $2 street meter parking There's no structure parking nearby.
[Déco] - Similar to Roy's, but what stands out is their huge collection of wines. They've got over 100 different brands to choose from! Each table has an Ipad displaying the wine menu.
[Service] - The servers in the bars are very slow. The stand-alone tables are provided much better service. Avoid the bar area, unless you really want to watch the game. Â
[Food]
Prime Bone-In Ribeye $50.50 - Humongous at 20 oz, juicy, but also very fatty. Their in-house bbq sauce is basically just mixed with tomato sauce - not suitable for the steak.
Chilled Seafood Tower $24.50 -You are getting 2 Alaskan King Crab legs, half a mini lobster, a small portion of crab meat and ceviche, and 2 pieces of jumbo shrimp. Â Easily the best bang for your buck for a non-happy hour menu item!
Fleming Salad $9.95 - Everything in the salad was fresh from the walnuts to the tomatoes. The dressing is basically lime juice, which is a good choice.
Tenderloin Carpaccio $6 - Raw and tasty tenderloin beef. Thin cuts with nice, soft crunchy bread. Almost a perfect match. One heck of a deal for happy hour!
Flat Bread with Artichoke and Mushroom $6 - Big portion. More like a pizza, as there's a good amount of cheese and other ingredients. Good for sharing, although the prime burger and fries are probably a better choice.
Despite this being a steakhouse, I enjoyed their non-steak dishes more. If you like Roy's fusion restaurant, this place is worth a try since it is very similar and probably Roy's closest rival. Same $6 happy hour that offers great food for value in a fine dining  setting. The price range listed on the page is incorrect. It is more like $$$ than $$$$.
Appetizers-
Pan-crisped pork belly: This was really good in my book, but my brother says hes had better pork belly that was more tender. I would still recommend this tho.
French Quarter bbq shrimp: This was good as well but you cant really mess up shrimp...I dont think they were jumbo shrimp or anything. I wouldnt get it again just cause its not adventurous enough for me and it didnt come with a lot of shrimp. Id waste my money on a diff appetizer. The sauce is really good though.
New Zealand Petite Lambchops: As if we didnt get enough meat... this was a pretty solid lambchop but no wow factor here for me either.
Seared Ahi Tuna: Pretty good portion of ahi tuna. Its a light dish so dont expect to be blown away by flavors. I think id rather go for the lobster tempura but the father wanted to get this. It was just ok for me.
Steaks-
Med rare Plus Ribeye- Pretty good but it was a lil salty. I didn't notice it at first but as I kept eating, it got progressively saltier. Its probably cause they used a lil too much sea salt. You can tell them to use less if thats not your style. Also I feel the ribeye wasnt as tender as Mastros or Mortons.
Filet Mignon- This is the one time i think the filet mignon was better than the ribeye. I always order the ribeye, but after trying my brothers mignon, I would recommend it over the ribeye.
Sides-
Creamed sweet corn: This was probably my favorite dish besides the pork belly. Id def recommend you get this side. Maybe even two lol
Chipotle cheddar mac n cheese: This was really good too as well. I liked the flavoring o the mac n cheese. Ive had truffle mac n cheese but i felt this bl
By the way i saw someone get the signature onion rings n i kinda wish i got em cause they were HUGE. If you like onion rings id suggest addin that to ur order. The lava cake n the creme brulee were solid as well.
Overall I thought the food was solid, but compared to other high priced steak houses the ribeye/desserts were mediocre to me and didn't really stand out as much which was why I gave it 3 stars.
Fleming's Steakhouse in Beverly Hills is the best steakhouse in California.
This is a tremendous place for couples and groups with amazing food which is complemented by a great wine list from many World class regions and the super happy hour!
Many compliments to Managers Leslie, Tai and Doug who is one of the best servers in Beverly Hills.
Overall, I enjoyed my experience here, but to me the meal here was not as good as the one I had in Fashion Island. Â Service, on the another hand, is much better than Fashion Island store.
I ordered the sweet chili calamari, it was good, actually quite good for an appetizer, but it was a bit on the greasy side. Â The calamari itself was quite fresh. I wish they have one that is without the sauce, or I may just order the one without.
Peppercorn steak that I had was cooked pink, without blood, tender, which was good. Â However, the temperature was a bit on the cold side. Â The peppercorn rubbed on the steak was not enough so the flavor of pepper did not really melt into steak itself, unlike the one that I had at Fashion Island location. My friend's filet, however, was cooked to perfection.
Parking can be a bit difficult to find if you want free parking, but there are some meters that are free after 7pm in the nearby area, or you can always pay $2/5 flat rate on adjacent public parking lot.
It's really a shame by reading the previous reviews that I missed potential good steak with my wife for our anniversary.
The reason for the 1 star is not because of the food but because of the poor customer service experience that I received over the phone with Flemings. Basically, I tried calling Flemings to confirm a reservation that I had with them and that I wanted to make sure if it was ok to add another person for my reservations but the hostess for Flemings who pick up my phone call was really rude to me. I asked her "if I can confirm a reservation for tonite", which she replied "we don't take reservations until 10pm", which I replied "Umm..that what I wasn't asking about", then she had the audacity to say "I can't hear you just come if want or not" then HANGS UP. Â Really?!? Like that? Such piss poor service that I didn't even attempt to meet my reservations with Flemings and went else where. Thank you Fleming Beverly Hills for your great customer service.
Came here last week to take advantage of the $50 credit. Â
I made reservations for Thursday at 7:15pm. Â Arrived around 6:30pm. Â
Thanks to yelpers for mentioning the $5 parking lot right next to the restaurant.
We got in promptly and checked in. Â The hostess was nice and said she would try to get us seated earlier if possible. Â We went to the bar to get a drink and the bartender gave us the choice to transfer the tab to our table, Awesome!
*Side note, this restaurant really seemed to be a well oiled machine with managers, servers, bussers, bartenders all on the same page providing great service.
About halfway through our wait, around 6:50-7:00, my gf goes up to the hostess and requests a booth. Â She says no problem. Â Due to this request, I sort of expected a bit of a longer wait. Â Turns out we ended up getting sat around 7:25 or so, about 10 minutes after our reservation. Â Not bad.
First off, here's what we ordered. Â
-Flemings Salad: The Flemings salad was great. Â Nicely dressed, cranberries/walnuts were good.
-Pan Crisped Pork Belly: The Pork belly was ok. Â The pork itself was cooked amazing and was super tender and flavorful. Â The grits and sweet chutney were a bit weird to me. Â Maybe my palate couldn't appreciate the flavors being put together because my girlfriend really enjoyed this appetizer.
-Bone In Ribeye (Med Rare +): The main attraction. Â At first glance, the steak was very charred and looked burnt almost. Â After cutting into and tasting the first piece, my worries were put to ease as it tasted amazing! Â Cooked to perfection! Â A few bites were a bit salty but I actually liked it like that. Â This steak was great. Â I would put it at a slight level below Mastros bone in ribeye. Â
-Double cut french fries: Nothing really too special here. Â Decent fries, probably will pass on these next time.
We also ordered a bottle of Oxford Landing GSM (red wine blend) which was recommended by our server. Â As he explained, it had a nice subtle flavor, not too strong and we definitely enjoyed it. Â We are by no means any type of wine connoisseur so yeah...
The complimentary bread was a great first bite as well, just don't eat too much and fill yourself up.
When we requested the check, it came out with the $50 credit already subtracted so brownie points there as there was absolutely no mention of this credit either from us or from the server. Â Again, an example of this place being a well oiled machine. Â
All in all, everything was good. Â The $50 credit was awesome. Â For the price, I would probably go back to Mastros but a good choice nonetheless. Â
One thing which didn't really effect my rating for the restaurant (cuz it shouldn't) was that a lady sitting right in front of us by herself was complaining to the manager/busser/server pretty much throughout the entire duration of our meal. Â As my girlfriend said, "bitch don't kill my vibe".
Thanks to a recent promotion for their grand opening (thanks for the heads up, Christina!) I was able to have dinner at Fleming's without completely busting the wallet. Â
We started out on the bar while happy hour was going on and enjoyed the beef carpaccio appetizer and lemon basil martini for a very reasonable $6 each. Â I have tried all the happy hour offerings, having been to a Yelp event here, and I highly recommend the carpaccio and the baked brie. Â Unfortunately my boyfriend doesn't like cheese, so we didn't order the brie this time but I can't wait to get it again on our next happy hour visit.
Service was excellent at dinner. Â We had a bottle of wine, and our server consistently stopped by to pour for us and check on how we were doing. Â He was very polite and attentive.
Although the food was good, considering the cost I did not feel that the filet mignon and sides were up to par. Â Entrees do not include any sides, and that little filet looks kind of sad by itself. Â They didn't really dress up the plate beyond a sprinkle of dried parsley. Â The meat was flavorful and cooked well, but overall too salty. Â We also had the Fleming's potatoes and the sauteed mushrooms; the latter honestly tasted like sauteed mushrooms I often make at home. Â I expected better based on reviews and price level.
However, my boyfriend's double-thick pork chop was incredible! Â Please consider skipping the beef and ordering that! Â It was truly a double-thick piece, very moist, and came with the most delicious apple glaze. Â
Overall a great dinner and I would return if given the chance.
Heard about the $50 dining credit deal so I had to take them up on the offer and made reservations for a romantic dinner for the boyfriend and I. we parked at the parking structure behind the restaurant (I really don't understand paying for valet) and then walked ourselves over.
The decor is beautiful and elegant. The service was very friendly and the menu came on an iPad with pictures. Here is what we ordered:
Beef Tenderloin Carpaccio: This is one of the best appetizers of all time! The Parmesan bread with thin slices of raw beef in garlic and other sauces is a good start to my meal. The boyfriend really enjoyed it. Though you may be misled by the thin slices of beef, this starter is quite the bang for your bucks.
Creamed Corn: My most favorite side dish. Creamed corn has always been my must order whenever available. It is with a twist here as it comes with a top coat of melted cheese and jalapeno. Though it's still pretty good, I think I like the traditional way better.
Sauteed mushrooms: Always the safe choice and with here it's no different.
Sauteed spinach: Was too plain for me. I was better off going the creamed spinach route.
Overall, the sides portion was not the biggest compare to other steak house, but our entire meal (even splitting a steak) was enough to put us in food coma.
Bone in Rib Eye: Enough for the boyfriend and I to share at 22 oz. The rib eye was cooked perfectly when requested it to be medium rare. I loved that the outer sides were not burnt. The inside was bleeding, just how I like it! Really good steak!
All this minus the $50 dining credit, our bill was at $52 and some change. Got a $50 gift card from Costco for only $40, so our overall meal was a steal!
Service was great! Tables was very spread out which is good as I like to not hear the conversation from couples next to me. I was also told they often do $50 dining credit as promotions, so I do look forward to coming back in the future.
Finally, I have a steakhouse I can call my very own. I've never been one to frequent these joints, so none ever stood out to me.
Honestly, I didn't order any steak, but judging from the amazing food we had, the steak HAS to be good, right? I'll have to test my hypothesis out later, though.
Anyway, the Missus and I celebrated our anniversary here and it has been our best dinner to date. So good, in fact, that we are considering going back very soon.
Here's what we ordered:
**Jumbo shrimp cocktail
Getting only 4 skrimps for $17.95 kinda rubbed me the wrong way. They couldn't have been bigger than U12s, but they tasted great and were prepared exquisitely. NO BLOOD VEINS HERE, FOLKS!!
**Double-thick cut pork chop with jicama slaw
This chop was HUGE. I loved every bit of it. The jicama slaw tasted like apple pie to me, which was a perfect accompaniment to the pork. Great suggestion from our server, Julina. I can't even describe how perfectly it was done in the middle.
**Sauteed mushrooms
Very tasty. I thought they could have used a few more varieties like oyster, chanterelle, or crimini (only noticed shitaake and buttons). I feel the garlic was a bit underdone and needed more roasting. Aside from these gripes, I would definitely order this again.
**Half & Half of signature onion rings and double-cut fries
The onion rings are also gargantuan, but tasted great with the sides. Fries were definitely above average. Good choice if you want the tried and true pick, but might get boring if you want more adventurous sides.
**Sunday only prime rib dinner
Listen folks, if there is any day you want to try out Fleming's, then it has to be Sunday for the prime rib. For under $40, you get a huge slab of prime rib cooked to perfection (medium-rare plus), a salad, a side, and a dessert. You also get a trio of sauces. Absolutely wonderful!
For the dessert, we chose the carrot cake which was easily the best choice we made that night. This carrot cake was devilishly good. It was like a red velvet carrot cake layered with a cream cheese frosting. It also came with a side of chantilly cream and what tasted like a passion fruit sauce. Crazy, crazy good.
Mere words cannot do this dinner any justice. Go to Beverly Hills and give it a shot!!
Celebrating an early birthday!
Service at this place is ridiculously nice, kind and warm. Everyone is just so dang happy and willing to help and make sure you are comfortable at ALL times!!
Avalon wine compliments on my choice of steak.
It's a red wine, small hint of sweetness but it was smooth and went well with my meal.
House bread with two different types of spread, tomato and feta, my favorite was the feta. More please? But I couldn't because I knew I wouldn't be able to enjoy my meal. BUT I LOVE CARBS!!!
Now that was just a teaser, now down to the good stuff....
Bone in rib eye-med well
Good gracious, huge, juicy and the flavor was amazing. Tender meat, cooked to perfection and just BOMB!
Mac and cheese
Just the right amount of cheese and seasoning. It was good but not great. Nothing special about it but I am glad I was able to try it.
Flemings Potatoes
Slices of scallop potatoes with cream cheese and jalapenos. Potatoes were soft, sauce was perfect and it complimented my steak very nicely!
Carrot cake
Three layers of soft, moist and pieces of pineapple insides just blew my mind away. I love carrot cake and I have had my fair share of it. It's sweet and rich, so please share. Sharing is caring.
Complimentary chocolate truffles for the birthday gal!
Served 4 balls, eat them room temperature, rich and creamy. Took the rest home and enjoying every bit of it!
You get a little sometime special from them on your birthday!!
What the hell just happened? I came with slavishly inherent mid-level expectations (reasonable for fancy franchise). It is as if you know that you are about to eat 4 dollar signs, but you don't expect 4 dollar sign service. I spoil myself more often than never, but a recent push in promotional advertisement brings me here to this very specific establishment in Beverly Hills. Looking around maybe I don't belong here, for I am neither Beverly Hills royalty, nor esquire extraordinaire, nor rollercoaster tycoon, but one truth exists, a man loves his meat. Zingggg!
Parking is predominately valet for most, but for the few lucky ducks, street meters go free at 9pm. In the entire duration of our visit, the caliber of service was unbound but not overboard. I was going to be late for my reservation so a brief call to Whitney gave me peace of mind that my table would be ready when I arrived. That was only the start. Rick (Jason Segel look-alike) would be taking the baton and carrying it the extra extra mile as our server. It was a personable service that filled the 4 dollar sign fantasy from beginning to end. It's funny to have dropped 200 bucks and somehow think I got my money's worth.
-=-Bone-in Ribeye, Rare-=- Came out of the kitchen on a hot sizzling plate. In the dim lighting, the Asian in me couldn't take a snap of this masterpiece without alerting the entire restaurant, but believe me that it was juicy all the way through. When I was nearing the end of that steak, I just grabbed that left over bone and went to town. Yes, the proper way to eat a cowboy steak. You won't be disappointed, and you won't be hungry after chowing on this.
-=-Creamed Corn-=- Nothing special other than a layer of cheese on top. For those that typically enjoy the canned version, you will not be let down, as this expensive version pretty much tastes the same way but with cheese on top. Can't say I'd get it again, but hell...I did ask for creamed corn.
-=-Flemings Potatoes-=- These had a lot more character than your typical scalloped potatoes. Every bite had a buttery and cheesy vibe that reminded you that these weren't your everyday potatoes. The serving size was the exact same as the creamed corn, and I wouldn't be surprised if all the ordered sides came on the same sized plate.
Mother's Day dinner!
Being a Flemings newsletter subscriber, I got an email awhile back giving me a $50 credit for making a ressie at the new Beverly Hills location. A nice gesture which will help cover at least a nice appetizer and toward tip!
Tropical ice tea was yummy (my fave icetea is still from Capital Grille)
Hot bread and two fancy butter spreads were good as usual

Seared ahi tuna appetizer: my mom enjoyed the fresh fish but I wasn't crazy about the added flavor. The slaw with sesame flavoring was good tho.

Mom had the main filet mignon. I had a bite and it was a perfect med rare. No sauce needed. <a href="http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/flemings-prime-steakhouse-and-wine-bar-beverly-hills#prCSBH7Q0sQ67Aka6-qfmg">http://www.yelp.com/biz_…</a>
I had my fave cut : bone in rib eye. Nice char and flavor. Left a little on the bone for my steak sandwich the next day!  <a href="http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/flemings-prime-steakhouse-and-wine-bar-beverly-hills#69lqkIYah_Q6jlG7GuQi_A">http://www.yelp.com/biz_…</a>
French beans were pretty good with yummy mushrooms with it. <a href="http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/flemings-prime-steakhouse-and-wine-bar-beverly-hills#kkdAaiLg20pHenM5Qorybw">http://www.yelp.com/biz_…</a>
Our nice waiter had talked us into the lava cake, which I had at the el segundo location and it was almost just as good as I remember, I wanted a bit more melty goodness on the inside. The bluebell icecream was delicious as was the housemade whip cream. <a href="http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/flemings-prime-steakhouse-and-wine-bar-beverly-hills#Gsx7dScLxlZlIgOfiFLZsg">http://www.yelp.com/biz_…</a>
The food 4.5, service was 5!
We got there right as they opened at 5pm on a Saturday and got seated right in the front window, which did great for my pictures with the natural light coming in. The rest of the restaurant was more dark and cozy. Steaks are average price $45 to $50, apps about $15-20, Ala carte sides $10.
Parking lot has 2 free hours before 6pm, or $5 flat after 6. Right next to Bouchon.
Boy.. where to start...
This place has top notch servers!
Whether it's our main server or others who bring sides and beverages, their service is exactly what it should be.
Always smiles, very genuine (belief depends on you lol), overall probably the best service we've received in a long time.
We had the pleasure of Abbey being our server. She greeted us promptly with a small and even had a little small talk. Suggested us to look at the wine menu but even though we didn't go with wine, we didn't feel any sort of discomfort.
She was easy to talk to and very detail oriented with any questions regarding dishes we had asked.
Finally we decided what to order:
Appetizers:
--House bread: They provided some fresh baked bread with two spreads. I believe one was a "sun dried tomato butter" and the other was some sort of "asiago cheese spread". I don't quite remember the names.. but they were light n fluffy. Very good.
--Crab Cakes: I honestly have never been a fan of crab cakes, other places were always meh. Here however, I can honestly say I enjoyed them. They had a nice texture to them, not overcooked like other places. Almost a slight crispiness to them, but fall apart once you cut into it. It only seemed to taste better as you take each bite!
Entrees:
--Rib eye steak (bone-in): Here's where I got a little interesting. They offer med-rare and medium cooked like usual, but if you like it right in the middle of the two.. they also offer Medium rare PLUS. Man.. they really have it down to a science. Our med-rare & med-rare + steaks came out PERFECT. The seasoning was good, I think they pan sear them to get the little bit of crunch to add flavor to the outside.
Sides:
Cream Corn: What else can I say? Actually.. they put cheese on top with a couple jalapeno slices on top and bake it.. it's not my favorite way of having cream corn but it was different and not bad either!
Asparagus: Simply grilled and lightly seasoned. Came out just fine.
They have quite a few other options for entree's as well, even small bites for those who aren't too hungry or don't want to pack anything home. Oh, and they even provide a website for left over steak recipes!
We'll be back!
Great new Fleming's Restaurant in Beverly Hills that rivals my favorite steakhouses (ie. Mastro's, the Cut, and LA Prime). Â So what puts them in this category? Â
For one, every great steakhouses should have a fabulous breadbasket and this Flemings has it. Â Gourmet breads that are worthy fillers - Chardonnay-infused feta! Â WHAT?!?!?! Â Pass me da buttah! Â Â Â
Here's the lowdown on the grub:
Caesar Salad - nice dressing, crisp lettuce, good starter if you're trying to keep your gut in check
Pan Crusted Pork Belly (<a href="http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=nrp8Sk93TLVcboNF9I8nJw&userid=7an-zIbFKvGxjpeNN9H9ow">http://www.yelp.com/user…</a>) - obviously I'm not trying to keep my gut in check, MUST ORDER
Lobster Tempura App (<a href="http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=VSpm4TV4bTQX_uH_vrPwoQ&userid=7an-zIbFKvGxjpeNN9H9ow">http://www.yelp.com/user…</a>) - very good, the sauce it comes with is magnificent
Seared Ahi Tuna App (<a href="http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=dpHrJ8gI3rJiZCjUyjNWXQ&userid=7an-zIbFKvGxjpeNN9H9ow">http://www.yelp.com/user…</a>) - so fresh and melts in your mouth, great quality tuna
For the meal we went with the Bone in Filet Mignon and the Bone in Ribeye. Â Both were PHENOMENAL. Â Great seasoning, perfectly cooked at medium rare+, and packed with so much flavor. Â Picking a favorite between the two would be like picking a favorite child. Â
The Macmurray Ranch Pinot Noir went perfectly with the steaks but at $21 a glass, it should! Â Pints of beer are ~$10, domestic bottles are ~$6, and cocktails are about $13. Â
For the sides we got the Flemings Potatoes, Mac & Cheese, and the Sauteed Mushrooms. Â All were delicious but in this case, the Mac & Cheese was the clear favorite!
Another meal that pushed the boundaries of my stomach. Â
As for the service, it's up there with the best. Â I think at one point we had 3 people serving us and a manager making sure we're having a great dining experience.
AND if you make a reservation using the link below and go BEFORE May 31, 2013, you'll get a $50 credit!!!!

Been to this location a couple of times now. We came for happy hour on a Saturday night and service was a bit off on the patio. During our time on the patio, three different couples wondered if a waiter was suppose to come out or if we were to order at the bar. There was a waiter assigned to that area. It was annoying waiting around, but we figured they were still working our the kinks of a new restaurant. We chatted a bit with Whitney, the manager, afterwards about our experience. She was kind, listened, and invited us back again for another try.
We visited again this past Saturday for dinner and loved our entire dining experience. Jin, our waiter, was absolutely fantastic. He checked in on us just the right amount and made some wonderful wine recommendations. I ordered the bone-in ribeye and figured I'd give the nifty iPad wine guide a try. For my first glass, the iPad recommended an Avalon cab with the ribeye - it was an alright pairing. For my second glass, Jin recommended a Duckhorn cab - WOW it was perfect. Lesson learned: take Jin's recommendation.
I've been to this new Fleming's twice since it's opened and both times the food was delicious.
In the first visit, I went for a multicourse meal. I started with French onion soup, which was delicious, and got filet mignon for my main course. The steak was very tasty and so tender it melted in my mouth. Our table ordered creamed spinach and au gratin potatoes to share. Both were good, but the spinach was probably one of my favorite items of the night; I scooped up seconds and thirds.
In the second visit, my friends and I went for happy hour: 5 (items) for 6 (dollars) till 7 (pm). There were five cocktails, five wines and five plates to pick from, so enough of a variety. I was disappointed, however, that the only white wine on the list is Chardonnay. I really wanted a Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc. We shared a bacon cheese burger and mushroom and artichoke flatbread for appetizers. Both were delicious and generous portions.
I rarely splurge on myself for a steak dinner, so I'd return if someone was treating me ;) And if getting to Beverly Hills on a weeknight from Santa Monica wasn't so difficult, I'd probably hit up happy hour more often.
Very nice place and surrounded by other outstanding restaurants.
The downside is that I didn't any specific cravings or else I would've known what to order. Luckily, I had Jen H. w/ me, she chose all the items and I was more than satisfied. Per the server's recommendation we ordered the Mac n Cheese and it was AMAZING!
I was a happy man during lunch because we had leftovers and it was just as good when I reheated it.
We had Chilean sea bass, Bone in Rib eye, baked brie, and the complimentary bread came with a noteworthy smoked pepper butter that was herbaceous and full of Flavors.
The bone in rib eye was so succulent it was criminal. I took my time and savor end every bite.
The Chilean sea bass was flavorful with a white wine reduction that just put the dish over the top.
Would I be back?
Yes, their Mother's Day event looks really appealing.
Who says meat is the only way to a man's heart? Â
(It's to a woman's as well~)
Grubbage =
* Bread basket: who reviews a restaurant's complimentary carb-loader? Â Uhh me, when it comes with chardonnay-infused feta and tomato-butter as the spread...both of which were taaasty~
* Tenderloin carpaccio [caper creole mustard sauce]: Umm...ah-mazing! Â The carpaccio was fresh, the sauce very reminiscent of light horseradish without overwhelming the carpaccio, and the fresh toppings made this app a winner~
* Jumbo lump crab cakes [roasted red pepper and lime butter sauce]: Chunky crab cakes...crispy outside. Â Delish.
* Fleming's potatoes [house specialty with cream, jalapeños and cheddar cheese]:  This scalloped-potatoes dish, piled high into a brick-like lasagna-layering, was sooo good with all the layers of cheese.  Perfect.
* Petit filet mignon: Served at a perfect medium rare.
* Chocolate lava cake [rich cake with molten belgian chocolate center, Blue Bell vanilla ice cream, and chopped pistachios]: Â This decadent chocolate dessert hit the spot, the melted center was not too sweet, and the pistachio cookie "bowl" was great~
If our stomachs would have allowed, would have loved to try more items such as the baked brie, mushroom ravioli, and the chipotle cheddar mac & cheese. Â But alas, we were bordering on gluttony here...
WOA:
* Valet parking or tons of free lots nearby.
* We took advantage of the $50 dining credit, sent via email invite from restaurant. Â Bonus!
* Great service from Davene~
4.5 stars~~
WOW what a beautiful new resturant and location! I had made reservations online and for some reason I was having difficulties. So I called the resturant and asked if they could help me and they were extremely pleasant and helpful. I was very pleased because usually resurants tend to rush you and not very helpful over the phone. So I was already excited and happy about Fleming's before I even came!
Walking into Fleming's was breathtaking. as it should be since it's a street before the world famous Rodeo Drive. The host was friendly and made us feel very welcomed. Our Serve was Gino and when I return to Fleming's, it will be all because of him! He was fantastic! Very personable, friendly and gave us great suggestions, wine and food pairings, and was very knowledgeable. Yes the food was great, but nothing that blew me over or it wasn't anything that I couldn't get at another good steakhouse. The five star review is really because of him.
Now, I came with my partner, and I of course and always have to order a french onion soup wherever it is served. And let me just say, it was DELICIOUS and didn't let me down! I could have ordered another bowl. I also ordered the lamb chops which came with polenta cakes and this extremely delicious chimichurri. Or at least I think it was? I honestly didn't care because it was that damn good. My partner ordered a filet mignon and their Fleming's potatoes. The filet mignon was also great. I could easily eat two of those tiny bad boys haha The potatoes were so so. Nothing great and were at room temperature by the time we got them.
We also had wine, and I wish I could remember the one we ordered but they have a great selection of wines here!
So thank you Gino and Fleming's for a great date night!!!
Oh and for my fellow yelpers who have a Costco membership, they sell gift cards their. Buy one for $79.99 and recieve $100. Wish I had known this pior but there's always next time!
Service here was absolutely impeccable! We were greeted and seated promptly. Atmosphere is very elegant and dimly lit to give a very romantic ambiance. Abbey was incredibly knowledgeable of the offerings and gave us suggestions based on our questions and comments. She went above and beyond to make us feel special during our time here. Beau and I agree that she was incredibly attentive and the best server we have ever had. Period.
I am a gal who really appreciates her red meat. My ribeye was cooked to perfection. Â I also appreciate that it was not overly fatty. We opted to share a side of chipotle cheddar mac and cheese which was just okay. Although I probably would not order this again. Of course we saved room for dessert! We chose the rich and decadent chocolate lava cake which came with vanilla bean ice cream and whipped cream. Such a nice finish to our hearty meal.
Whitney, the manager came by to check and chat with us for a little bit. She also made us feel like very special guests.
Fantastic food and top notch service!
Valentines Weekend
My beau and I got spruced up, and with the finest slick in his hair, he swept me over the hill to this new Flemings on lover's weekend =)
Our reservations were honored promptly. We were seated and greeted and enjoyed some time to ourselves to browse their iPad menu. We soon noticed our table was a teeter totter and requested a change. They moved us to a cozy booth towards the front and then totally forgot about us for 30 minutes. Whitney the manager came by, coincidentally just to say hello and ask how everything was. We told her we hadnt been visited since the move 30 minutes prior and she immediately apologized and started comping appetizers, offering drinks, and gave us a gift card. They dont make excuses, they make happy customers.
Furthermore, it was her sparkly, relaxed, humorous personality that really smoothed everything over. I haven't met a cooler restaurant manager in a long time. She checked up on us 3 more times in the night and we were sitting pretty. It was the epitome of excellent service and we were very happy. We were also...very full. Haha. I have the 16oz prime rib I think, half the appetizer menu, and NY cheesecake to boot. Lets just say if I was wearing a belt, itd have popped into leather pieces on the floor.
My only complaint is their valet company outside. They couldnt find our car for a half hour and didnt apologize. There was this girl working the booth that made sure I saw her cutting eyes at me. Nobody opened my door. They were so unbelievably rude. I've never gone out of my way for this before but based on the principle I wrote to Whitney and she thanked me with a phone call and a gift lol. I wasnt looking for any rewards, I truly felt it was wrong for that company to have a job in front of Flemings when theyre such idiots. Thank you Whitney for being so amazing!! They are so lucky to have such a brilliant Manager =) See you sooner than later.
Thank you Flemings for all the comp credits!
New location is very nice as expected but a bit smaller than the LA Live and Newport location.
Fleming's always has great service, quality steaks and good wine choices. This new location is no different.
Petite filet was made perfectly.
Bearnaise was the right tart and rich that I enjoy.
Tenderloin Carpaccio is a must. The capers and the basil combo is delicious.
Burrata at Flemings was a first for me, but it was fresh and creamy.
I didn't expect this at all from Fleming's, I have dine at the LA LIVE location several times, but I wanted to try the B.H. loc and I honestly expected more from this location.
First off, the staff was great, met several of them, all very friendly , so the star goes to the staff.
but... the food......I ordered the ribeye medium well, and it was basically burned like beyond well done =( Â I didn't want to send it back because it was already late at night, so by the time they would try to cook another steak it would be too late to eat. Â
In addition it took an hour for the waiter to take our order after our wine had arrived.
Second of all, the wine was very watery, I don't know what was up with it, like they watered it down......omg I couldn't believe it! Â Just terrible!!!
The Bearnaise sauce wasn't the best but I ordered more but I never got it =(
