I will keep this short- Maybe times have changed and I have not, but last night we went out to Fridays (it's been a while maybe a year, when Fridays still had the 'hanging from the ceiling junk and flair') for my Day after Father's Day meal, And I was just generally disappointed in our meal.
Specifically, the prices- all of our entrees were $14+ for just pedstrian food- "yucatan salad" basically chiken and greens, I got shrimp and french fries, $14?  A dinner for 4, no alcohol, no dessert, $100(tip incl) at a Fridays ?!?! This is my fault, we should have looked at the menu (I guess online), and not even gone. Also, our server was fine, but seemed bored to be there, as was I...Just too much $$  for this 'experience' -plus the Nats lost!

Came here on Memorial Day after seeing all the "New Fridays" ads on the metro. Meatball appetizers were quite good, service was good (but they weren't busy).  The tomato/mozzarella salad side dish was quite good as well as the rest of my meal (JD chicken and the Parmesan steak fries).  The steak fries had sort of a honey-butter sauce sprinkled along with the cheese - quite good!  Happy we stopped back in - will be back.

Out late tonight in Manassas, Virginia grabbing a bite to eat with friends. Is really makes me miss the now defunct Kirkland, WA TGI Fridays. Overall good dining experience.

First off the drinks are horrible and barely any alcohol in them and for the price you pay it isn't worth it -

I sat down in the bar and there were maybe 3 tables with a few people at each and it took me over 15 minutes to be waited on... I ordered fried green beans and they were burnt... tasted horrible and tasted like the freezer...

I decided to try something new off the menu and get the garlic shrimp on the sizzling hot plate.. I got food poisoning from this horrible food.. They left the tails on the shrimp.. (who does that!?) the rice was hard and over cooked...

    not worth the money!!!!!!

Still no wifi ?  Ok so I come in on a tuesday night as I have no power and this is a diversion,  I think about my food going to waste in the refrigerator . Ok maybe I can enjoy an evening out  with something to eat, as I look at the menu the waiter comes over and asks if I have been helped? No I have not , may I ask what do you recommend?  He replies... too eat?  Ok this is good?

No extra napkin was to be had , the food comes at the 30 minute mark . Bland  is spot on as others have described . Maybe they haven't heard of Yelp or do not read the reviews. I say pass this one by.

I used to go here all the time with friends after work and I never really noticed the service. The quality has gone downhill severely. As a server myself, I'm aware of how much work is involved in certain tasks and and seriously, getting a round of waters for the table takes maybe a minute tops. 10 minutes later, I still had no drink. It took the server 10 minutes to even notice we were at the table, and when I attempted to have an appetizer order put in along with the drinks, she cut me off and told me she was only doing drinks right now so I would have to wait. Is this for real? Rude. Food always takes forever too, it's like they forget to ring it in. When my friend and I asked for the checks, it took her almost 15 minutes to bring them, I saw her holding them in her hand while she sat down and talked to a friend. No apologies for taking so long, nothing. I'm so tired of this nonsense.

I really like this particular location of this restaurant. My husband and I visit whenever we want a low fat, and filling meal which is the dragon fire chicken that's served with steam brocolli which is always tender and bright green - perfect. They also make a mean mudslide, which is like drinking an alcoholic milkshake - very tasty. I am also pretty pleased with the take out orders - the host/hostess is always very friendly!

Now keep in mind I have not been here in a couple years so the staff may be completely different (hopefully), but about 5 years ago when I frequented this place, the food was mediocre and the staff all seemed to be indifferent to their customers and were more concerned about their inner-circle social dramas than doing their job.

On one occasion I'm pretty sure our waiter was hung-over or high; he took our drink orders with his eyes half-shut while grunting monosyllabic responses. After he took our drink order, we waited for about 15 min only for him to come back and ask what I had ordered again because he forgot (I'd just asked for a water).  That was just our drinks.  For my dinner, I asked for the flat iron steak, rare without the Jack Daniels sauce.  I had to send it back THREE times:
1st time: well-done with sauce on it.
    2nd time: well-done without sauce.
3rd time: rare with sauce on it.
    4th: finally got it right.

This is the first and last time ever I had to send food back because I generally hate to be that ultra picky customer, but this was ridiculous.  And I realize it's not my waiter's fault because he doesn't make the food, but each time I sent it back he was not apologetic or even nice about.  He acted annoyed with me even though each time the steak was clearly not what I ordered. Well-done and rare are pretty far apart on the done-ness spectrum of steak, and it's sort of obvious when something has sauce on it and when something does not.  My boyfriend at the time was finished eating his meal by the time I finally got my food brought to me correctly prepared, and I had to actually ask  my waiter if we could get a discount or something since it was screwed up so bad so many times.  He rolled his eyes and said he'd have to check with his manager.  Good news is I didn't have to pay for my dinner.

OK. I have say the reason i was at a TGI Fridays was because my coworker had a coupon. Well I dodged a bullet. Seeing how there is very little inn the way of healthy choices at a Fridays, I opted for a turkey burger with a side of vegetables.  About 10 mins after ordering the manager came up the our table and stated "I've searched the freezer and I can't find any turkey burgers, would you like something else?" I ordered the flat Iron steak which was passable. But if the turkey burgers are kept in the frezzer until ordered, how do the defrost them so they can throw them on the flattop griddle?

It's a chain....and probably the worst one of its kind. Met up with some coworkers after work for a "bitching fest" and junk food. I ordered "Nachos". When a plate of taco shells cut in half with cheese on them came out for a whopping $10, all I could think was "WTF". (Whats Tacos For????) My husband ordered a side of fries...they were tasty...but what fries are not? He also ordered some kind of spinach flat bread....it was on soft taco shells....again, I thought "WTF". (Whats Tacos For????) After guzzling my 4th diet Coke, we decided to order the "Oreo Madness" for dessert. I was expecting this freakishly big oreo with ice cream to come out...but the hockey-puck sized ice cream sandwich straight out of a wrapper came out instead. Again, "WTF" (Wrapped, Then Frozen)
Our check finally came....for THIRTY dollars....THIRTY FREAKING DOLLARS...we had NOOOOO alcohol and my husband had a WATER....THIRTY DOLLARS. WTF?! (Who Thought of Fridays?!?)
side note: our waiter Tony was a nice guy!

If you're in the mood for not seeing a waiter for over 30 minutes after being seated, undercooked shrimp, and a steak that's tougher than leather TGI Fridays in Manassas may be for you. Went here with a party of 6 adults and two toddlers. I had steak that was tough and basically tasteless. My wife had the shrimp skewers and they were not cooked fully. The waiter was friendly but the service was very, very slow from the get go. Our friend who had arrived before us ordered a tea when she waiting for us. It was not brought to her until we all got our drink order. By then approx. 40 minutes had passed. 40 minutes for a cup of tea. Unreal....Skip this place at all costs.
Also, if you are vegetarian the options are all side orders. You can also get a salad and have the meat removed, or a pasta and the same thing. Guess what though? It's the same price. At the very least they should reduce the price a little for removing the meat.
Way better options for lunch or dinner even if you are in Manassas which is no dining mecca....

I stopped by to get a take out order for dinner.  I went to the bar to order, and didn't have to wait too long before the bartender took my order.  The bar wasn't packed, but there were about 4 other people eating there.  He asked me if I wanted something to drink while I was waiting, and I ordered a Coke.

I waited maybe 10 minutes for my order to be ready, and throughout that time, the bartender made sure that he refilled my drink and updated me on the status of my take out order.

When it was ready, he even gave me a cup of Coke to take with me to go without me even saying anything!  And he remembered that I had asked to have some ketcup on the side for my fries and also added in utensils and napkins.

I'm not sure how eating at this resturant would be, but I was very happy with how attentive they were to me, even though I was getting a take out order.  The food was delish too!

Food is okay for a chain restaurant. Service was terrible. I remember someone in my group asking for straws.. and the waiter threw like 20 down on the table. he looked like he hated his job. I'm not surprised by the mediocre reviews of this place.

A friend and I visited on Friday night around 7:00 pm. The restaurant and bar were very busy. We sat at the bar. The Happy Hour specials were not advertised well but were good values. The staff were pleasant but not very attentive. The crowd was not diverse at all!

The pot stickers were bland, the fried green beans were tasty. The margarita was a typical margarita.

All in all, good values, poor atmosphere.

    Good service at the bar.

I ordered a local wheat and the bartender mentioned that blue moon was on special (saving me a couple bucks).

Got a HUGE caesar for a side salad (almost a meal in itself). Got the sirloin with side of broccoli. Make sure and order an extra side of the sauce they put on the steak (broccoli doesn't have much flavor without it).

Not the best meal I've ever had, but definitely decent for the price (salad, steak dinner & beer for $20).

Two New Yorkers travel out of State to find Less than the Friday's Experience and problems across the board lead to a horrible late night dining experience.   Approximately 11:00  Bar areas was crowded with no seats so my companion and I sat at a table to have some drinks.  We brought our paid for drinks to the table.

A waiter brought menus and we finished our drinks and ordered two more.  The waiter asked if we wanted to order and we said maybe in a little bit.   I ordered a soup and an appetizer one-half way into our second drink.

One-half way into our third drink, the menus were still on the table and we decided to order full entrees,  we were hungry.  I'm not sure the timing but we were there for about one hour and a half total.  When we told the waiter what we wanted  he said that the kitchen was now closed and we could not get food.

No announcement was made that the kitchen was closing.  I asked for the manager and he could not pull strings.  We were told that the bar closes in 10 minutes (State law) we quickly paid the bill in two minutes and proceeded to the bar area to order our last drink before we left to go to our hotel room [again without eating properly].  When we got to the bar area we were told that the Bar was closed.  When speaking with another manager at the bar, he said there was nothing that could be done.  It is the state law to close the bar at a certain time, and he could not pour us the last drink.

Exceptions to the law need to be made in the case where the restaurant screws up so badly and they need to make it up to their patrons.   Or the Restaurant needs to handle these cases in a different way.

    (1) They did not tell us the kitchen was closing after we ordered appetizers, and (2) they closed the bar without ample notice. (3) I felt like a fool in front of my party because we had to leave that night hungry after having several drinks.

Friday's Restaurant is geared to travelers who like to drink and be anonymous.  We make up the  cash cow that restaurants before turning in to the local hotel to help us sleep.   Because of this experience,  I have not been to a Friday's Since/ not even the one I once liked up the block from my house.    I can find someplace else for a while; recommend this to the reader also to not accept less than good reliable service.

Very very slow service.  Typical chain restaurant food.  It took two hours to be greeted and to complete our meal!  Apparently there was not many people staffed to work the evening that we dined there that they had managers cooking in the kitchen that night!  I got to the point I was so tired of sitting...I couldn't wait to leave!  BTW...the mini desserts are not very good...
