Drinks are great here. Came here with a group of friends, so I was able to try everyone else's drinks as well. Even the drinks with liquors I didn't like tasted good. The charcuterie board is also good too, but a little pricey. Cocktails are typical NY prices though.

My new favorite place because they don't allow this place to get crowded and the drinks are fancy. Be prepared to wait outside, they don't take reservations but you can get in within 20-30 minutes.

Okay, this place is somewhere I wish I found like 3 years ago before every hipster and their pitbull decided it was their go-to. I really liked the drinks but I wish there were more options for bar bites.

The ambiance is fabulous. It reminds me of a place you would see in the movies, very detailed and well kept. The bathrooms are even beautiful! Service was great but it was very busy and the waitress did forget what drinks we had ordered once or twice. It was a fun place to go in the afternoon and I would definitely go back again.. I wish I could scrap half of customers though.. especially ones that are 40 and half naked. But it is BK so what can you expect..

Hotel DelMano is a really chill little speak easy in Willburg West. Like all speak easies in Brooklyn, it's modeled after a cafe from the 1930's. + 1 for originality there!

What I didn't like about this place was the face our barista made when my date decided to return her drink. Listen : if someone doesn't like their drink, they just don't. Sometimes its not a reflection on your bartender or your institution. People just might not dig the concoction. Smile, take the drink back and bring another one. Be hospitable about it. Don't make a scrunched up scowl face, because your guests will take note and remember it.

So I'm on this thing where I can't drink alcohol or things with ice (don't ask).  I came here with friends anyway. After I told the bartender my restrictions, he's like "oh, a room temperature virgin cocktail?" And whipped me up the most delicious coconut-y frothy thing! It was so yummy!  The boys had their delicious cocktail and I had mine.

My heart is broken...Two days ago, I had the sultry experience of falling in love with a cocktail.  Yes, folks, I said it...a cocktail.  There I sat, on a lone bar stool at Hotel Delmano when a frisky cocktail named The Alibi called out to me from the tantalizing beverage list.  As much as I tried to look away and check out some to the other cocktails, ones with ingredients like fresh pear and apple cider, my eyes could not help by dart back to The Alibi.  I knew that I just had to have it.

The drink arrived and I savored my first, intent glance.  I slowly picked up the glass, eager for the delightful blend to touch my lips.  The smokiness of its tequila was perfectly balanced with a sweet infusion of pineapple.  This ideal combination continued with the fiery, yet fragrant, house-made cinnamon-vanilla syrup.  So enraptured was I that I completely forgot the final ingredient.  I believe it might have been lime or lemon juice, but sadly the bar's website has been giving me the cold shoulder and will not revel its suave menu for my pleasure.

I long to sample this cocktail once again, so I suppose I will have to forgo playing hard-to-get and rush back to Hotel Delmano as soon as possible so that I might once again be able to succumb to its heavenly taste.  *Sigh*, why does love need to be so complicated?!

Great place to take a date. More dressed up than a lot of Williamsburg bars.

I have been waiting forever to hit up Hotel Delmano. I remember after an episode of "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" I turned to my friend and said we should head to Hotel Delmano, but his mom wouldn't drive us. What a bitch! Oh wait that was a Fun Time USA dance party. Ok so not that far back and maybe not forever. Though I have been waiting awhile.

Upon approaching the place I start to look for a sign, though true to speakeasy form, there is nothing to indicate where the bar is. However there are people waiting outside and others standing around smoking cigarettes. It's either a bar or brothel. Win either way, right? Start speaking to the bouncer who is a friendly fellow and says it shouldn't be long. We ended up waiting around 5-10 minutes which isn't awful since we were already a little buzzed but we wanted in already. Though in retrospect, I'm glad they do that. Other places which do the same thing allow people in at will. It can get quite packed in those places. Here they make sure there is space and that everyone is comfortable. Inside is beautiful. Nice looking couches, beautiful bar and old school charm. Lets be honest here though, I'm here to drink. Wait, that makes me sound like I have a problem. I'm here to....... people watch? So after people watching I decide to have some beverages. Always have to get an Old Fashioned to measure a cocktail bar. They make a good one, though I noticed their low ball glasses were smaller than other establishments. Not a big deal, just an observation. Also figured I'd get something to warm me up, in this never ending winter season. Don't expect to see many warm drinks on menus in the near future so I got a hot cider drink. Hit the spot.

In the end, Hotel Delmano lived up to the hype and you can actually breathe inside.

The drinks and food are delicious. GREAT OYSTERS! However, the service is SOOOOO SLOWWWWW!! If it is even slightly crowded, it will take three years to get a drink. One time I finished my food before my drink even arrived. I looked at the bartender to see what was going on, and he was just checking his hair in the mirror.

So my friends draaaaged me out to Brooklyn but...I'm glad they did.

Not the most secretive of places, but there were groups of people waiting to get in before us and we still got in in a super-timely manner. The bouncer was just the slightest bit douchey but oh well.

Once you're in: the service is nice and non-pretentious, there are a ton of drink options and they are all delicious, and the atmosphere is really cozy. It's actually a good sized place, and just generally fun to be in. I'd definitely come back!

I grew up a long ways from Brooklyn, in the dusty Southwest. And I'll never forget the time that my old cowboy dad, while driving along a dirt road on the way to the Grand Canyon, stopped to push a rattlesnake off the road with a stick. A secretly tender-hearted guy, he was worried that a car might come along and kill it; the fact that it might kill him first was less of an issue to him, it seemed.

I was fifteen. "We're sixty miles from the nearest hospital, and you have not taught me how to drive yet," I informed him curtly. "GET BACK IN THE CAR."

He looked at me sideways, gave me a big, defiant grin, and continued to poke the snake with a stick til it scuttled off the road.

Over a decade later, my dad and I found ourselves laughing about this story in the Hotel Delmano, where I'd ordered him--you guessed it--The Rattlesnake.

Though I'd taken my dad all over town on this trip, I felt like the Hotel Delmano was the piece de resistance. It's distinctly badass, a secret speakeasy-style bar hidden within Williamsburg that even the hipsters don't seem to know about (and I have checked with many to verify this shocking claim). It's classy as hell, with its tiled floors, impeccably polite servers and gauzy, amber lighting, under which a varied crowd of beautiful and interesting people always seem to be laughing together about some private shared joke. And yet, it's not at all pretentious, as I observed when taking my mustachio'd father, decked out in his faded cowboy Wranglers, for one last nightcap, and not one bartender batted an eyelash.

And I have to say, even though his Rattlesnake came in a glamorous coupe, it was strong enough to earn me a small and satisfying revenge: I outdrank my dad that night at the Hotel Delmano. Guess it did bite him, after all.

Fellas, bring your lady/lad friend here and there's a better chance of someone putting out than if you went elsewhere. I've gone here on dates only but I'm sure it's a good hang-out spot as well.

My favorite and frankly the BEST BAR IN NYC. The decor is Parisian-inspired, chic, and classy (not in an uptight manner, but in a posh way).

Each time I've gone, I've had a different cocktail and was blown away by the goods. From a gin with ginger fancy drink, to absinthe (served alongside a badass, vintage-like fountain), to a Bulleit bourbon on the rocks (they serve it with larger ice-cubes) -- it's all top-notch. The charcuterie/cheese board is so delicious, it includes meats, cheeses, baguette slices, mini pickles, green olives (the fruity kind!), grapes, and dried cranberries. The oysters are freakin fabulous, too.

I feel so comfortable and at ease here, and the crowd is always chill and non-abrasive or loud. The bartenders are babes -- seriously, there are delicious-lookin' guys who work here.

A coworker suggested Hotel Delmano to me, so I've been waiting for a cold night to check it out since it seems so cozy. My boyfriend and I stopped here before heading to The Gutter, and I'm so glad we did. I know everyone said to try the Rattlesnake but I wanted something toasty and warm so I ordered the Evening Star. It could have had more whiskey in it (I think I say this every time I get a whiskey cocktail though so... i just really like whiskey, okay?!) but it was so delicious I almost didn't care. We shared the meat and cheese plate which was awesome. A tad overpriced for the amount that we received (more cheese please!), but the charcuterie on that plate was legit.  The woman server wasn't the nicest, but what they lack in personality of their staff, they make up for with the beautiful decor.

Amazing place. Came here on a photo shoot with work and knew I had to return for drinks at night. Great ambiance, very intimate and cozy. Terrific drinks - typical NY prices ($13-$15) a drink.. more than I usually like to pay but the atmosphere makes it worth it.

Quickly becoming a favorite of mine! First time I came here was earlier this month for a business meeting, I've been back twice since then.  The booths are intimate, the decor is reminiscent of the early 20's/30's and the cocktails are superb. The ambiance is definitely cozy and romantic and it's a great place to escape to to have a drink and catch up with friends (you can actually hold a conversation!). I haven't tried the small bites yet, but definitely plan to. Hope to come back soon!

I came here to try my first absinthe and when I walked in to this dimly lit old school type feel of a hotel, I knew I was in a great spot.  I love the ladder behind the bar that slides from side to side as the bartender can reach high up to his well-stocked bar supply.  I sat in the corner on this couch and the server quickly came over.  I was eager to try absinthe, but had no idea about what to order / what was good, etc.  The server? She did not help out much, if at all.  I was disappointed of her lack of knowledge which I was going to rely on to select a good type for my first time.  I shrugged it off and just picked one.  I was pleasantly surprised.  The server came back and was able to explain what to do with my sugar cube and what was up with this huge contraption sitting in front of me.  I sipped on my two drinks throughout the night and walked out with a good relaxing buzz

I will definitely be back to this place again.

Lovely little place. Very cozy and romantic. They've got a wooden ladder on the wall of liquor, unassuming stucco(?) walls, those intimate half-round booths (good for a date), and little French touches throughout the decor that make you want to fall in love.

But seriously, fantastic cocktails. Really good service. One of the best bars I've been to (maybe the best) in Williamsburg.

This is a beautiful, old bar that is intimate and warm. Cocktails aren't bad either, but the service borders on unprofessional/bad, and Brooklyn is teeming with other great cocktail programs.

Of course there is no name on the outside of this establishment that is not a hotel. wouldn't be cool. while I drank my wine with my guest we decided to order a couple of small plates and had a wonderful crudite (sp?) with a vegetable whose name I can never remember. I also had the fluke ceviche which had great chunks of fish along with a very tasty sauce...not sure if that is the right word.
Overall loved the atmosphere, layout, choices, crowd, etc. Highly recommend.

I love that Hotel Delmano serves absinthe.  But I don't love that my server knew nothing about absinthe.  And I don't love that my server was somewhat pretentious and not even in an endearing manner.

I love that Hotel Delmano boasts an exclusive, early 20th-century, European feel.  But I don't love that, even on a random Tuesday night, the place is crowded.

I love that I can sit back in a booth and quietly chat with a friend, or a lover.  I love that Hotel Delmano enforces a "no flash photography" policy.  I love that everyone dresses in that same hipster/working class (but not really)/"i.don't.give.a.fuck.but.i.really.do" kinda fashion.  I love that there is a library ladder for getting the highest placed bottles.

Hotel Delmano is the perfect spot to impress a date, or to catch up friends.  As soon as you enter, you are taken back to the Prohibition era in the 1920's and 30's.  The decor and ambience is perfect and you can actually hold a conversation, unlike the other bars closeby - it is not what I normally think of Williamsburg.  They have an extensive cocktail menu list along with small bites and the raw bar.  A bunch of us ordered the ginger spike which was a bit too sweet for my taste, but still tasty.

Oh, and if you're wondering, Hotel Delmano is not a hotel, inside or near a hotel.  It's just the name!

Hotel Delmano is not a hotel. But for a moment, as you step through the threshold into one of the small, nook-filled, high ceilinged rooms with old-fashioned ceiling fans languorously spinning, you imagine that you are in Paris in the 1930s.

Only, you are not alone in Paris.  You are surrounding by hipsters with jeans, checked shirts, beards (men only, for the most part) and black rimmed glasses.  Its ok though - they don't bite!

If you can, bring a date here.  One you want to impress.  Snag the cushioned window seat at the far corner of the bar and ply her with one of their spectacular cocktails.  I'd recommend the free diver if she's not looking for something too sweet.  Why not order some cheese and charcuterie too?  The aged Vermont cheddar is lovely and they don't stint on the accompanying bread here.

Now close your eyes and imagine - is that Hemingway over there....

I truly love Hotel Delmano, not so much for their cocktails, but for the atmosphere.

Having been here twice now, I can speak to a few things on the menu, most notably the oysters...which were awesome, and some of their gimlets, which were extremely strong.

But besides the food and drink, the general vibe of this place is pretty cool.  Very chill, but still feels upscale.  Of course there are flocks of hipsters, but somehow they seem more posh than the ones that shuffle near the Bedford Ave stop.

All in all, great place to meet for a drink with a friend or with a date, and decent prices.

I have been here quite often and am realizing just now that I have never reviewed this place.

The feel of the place is what you'd expect in a cocktail bar and obviously that adds greatly to the experience.

What I and others love about the place is, of course, the booze. Their cocktail menu is generally spot on, reasonably priced and well-mixed. They seem to have a selection for each palate.

What makes me, Zach, love this place is that I can get two fingers of good bourbon from $9-$12. I can't imagine a much more pleasant evening than sitting down on a cold night to drink bourbon with the lull of good conversation and good music floating around me.

Step 1: Get yourself to Williamsburg, fools. This coming from ME.*
Step 2: Go to Hotel Delmano, praying the whole time that this stylized, adorable, fascinating little cocktail place will have a table for you and your date/friend/group.
Step 3: Admire the waiters with twirled mustaches right out of a Western/French novel/Williamsburg
Step 4: Peruse the veritable book that is HD's menu...it has ~20 signature and classic cocktails, plus pages of wines and spirits. While you do so, bask in the admiration and appreciation of your friend(s)/date while they ooh and ahh over how inventive the drinks are.
Step 5: Agonize over which drink you yourself will order, finally settling on one with an amazing name, like Free Diver, or something with "Bastard" in the title.
Step 6: Order & savor said drink; once again soak up your friends' adoration. You did well, son.
Step 7: Pay bill, lamenting the fact that you can't afford 3 such drinks at HD.
Step 8: Leave, promising to return as soon as your bank account will allow it.

*Okay, if you must know, I tend to hate on the 'burg, occasionally, because, well, some hipsters have just a little too much 'tude. BUT THE FOOD IS SO GOOD THERE.

Cool old school saloon meets french brasserie.

Went here for drinks on a random Sunday, they have a nicely composed list of specialty cocktails.  Aside from the main bar room, the inside is broken up into a bunch of seperate rooms with large comfortable banquets. And if its not too busy you can usually have one all to yourself, with your date, or day drinking crew.

Stumbled upon Hotel Delmano because DOC Wine Bar didn't open until 6 (on a saturday?! Boo).  But for me it was the most happy of happy accidents. Super cool interior, old-timey speakeasy-ish vibe with old school Ella and jazz tunes playing.  I'm usually a bourbon drinker, but I was feeling something seasonal and refreshing so I went with an apple brandy cocktail that tasted like apple pie in the most amazing way. And as the temperature dropped and the wind picked up, it was the perfect drink for a true fall evening. Mmm. My aunt had a glass of grenache; we shared Roomano, an aged Gouda that never fails to make me happy. It didn't fail this time either.

Service was friendly and fast. Cocktail list got me excited. Will definitely return for more than a quick cocktail on the way to dinner.

This place has really lost its character. I don't know if it's just because it's summer, but with all the tables outside and everything, this place has become quite the clusterfuck. Although everyone knows Hotel Delmano is here, I liked the sorta speakeasy illusion it carried. When I went recently--you couldn't miss it. Blasting classic rock music, lots of shouting, it seems to have slipped far from the bar I would go off to for a quiet cocktail with a friend. The service has always been lacking, but I've never been in a rush when I've come here, so it's okay. But with the magic gone, it was kind of excruciating waiting for the waitress--who when she finally came after passing so many times--just walked straight up like our presence was exhausting her and asked us what we wanted in a half-annoyed way. Uhhh. Okay.

Yes, the cocktails were still as delicious as ever, but the mood and the ambiance of a bar I once considered quiet and classy as fuck was gone. It felt like just a frat bar with really swank cocktails. I'm hoping this is a fluke and just because of all the Labor Day energy, but man, I'm not looking forward to coming back to Hotel Delmano. Maybe it's time to find a new cocktail spot...

I don't usually get out in Brooklyn, but an area bar crawl organized by a Brooklynite friend afforded me the opportunity to stop through this charming, old-timey non-hotel hotel bar. It seemed to be a pretty popular spot; on a Thursday night, we were asked to wait about 15 minutes for a table for three.

The interior was charming and cozy - almost made me feel as if I was walking into a dimly lit, classed-up antique shop from a time before my own. The drinks were great as well - I had the Ginger Spike no. 2, a rum-based drink with hard apple cider and a spicy aftertaste lent its the ginger flavor base. I sampled my friends' drinks as well, which were quite tasty.

Despite having had to wait for a spot, the place did not feel overcrowded or busy; we were able to have a relaxed conversation and enjoy the ambiance of the place. Would love to come back sometime soon.

Hotel Delmano is easily my favorite cocktail bar in Williamsburg. I've come here on several occasions and have never been disappointed. The bartenders sure do know what they're doing.

Love the speakeasy feel and ambiance. There's certainly an exclusivity factor about it, which I suppose makes it one of those must-visit, sought after establishments. There will probably be a slight wait on a Friday or Saturday night.

My go-to: San Francisco Handshake. On my last visit, the bartender surprised me with a crisp, refreshing St. Germain concoction not listed on the menu. It was a treat!

    Classy. Beautiful people. Great tunes.

Went to Hotel Delmano with Clifford R. (et al) for a friend's birthday drinks. She had concerns that our group of mostly Manhattanites wouldn't want to go "all the way out to Brooklyn" (honestly I can't even believe there are STILL people like that in this city.. that attitude is very 2001), but everyone loved Hotel Delmano and agreed it was the perfect spot for us.

They have a large menu of classic and creative cocktails, but I opted for the Tom Collins, which was a little sweet, but otherwise tasty. The cocktails are a more reasonable $10-12 than certain "specialty cocktail" places that charge more towards $15. I loved the decor, with exposed brick, wooden plank floors, high ceilings, and tall windows with their original moldings. Since it was a Tuesday, we were able to spread out in the back room, and the bonus was that it was not overly crowded, like certain "specialty cocktail" places.

I didn't get anything to eat there, but I did glance at the menu, and it truly is a "small plates" kind of bar. They have a selection of oysters, charcuterie, anchovy plates, sliced bread, etc... but nothing really really substantial. It's a good place to pick at a little something, but don't count on it as a main drinking meal. Your gin-coated stomach will need something more.

Last but not least, I HAVE to comment on the AMAZING music selection they played. I loved absolutely every song that came on (Crystal Castles, Depeche Mode, The Ronettes, The Smiths, etc...). Really really great music.

First things first - NOT a hotel.  Maybe everyone else knew that, but I thought we were meeting at a hotel bar!  It doesn't really matter, but just giving you all a heads up!

Anyway, met up with a group of friends for birthday drinks, around 8 on a Tuesday.  There were maybe 9 of us, and we had an area in the back of the bar with a few tables and chairs and a banquette / booth.  We more or less had the whole back room to ourselves, even though there was an empty booth right next to us.

Service was a little slow and sporadic, but the drinks were spot on! (Although surprisingly the waitress and bartender didn't know how to make a Gin Gin Mule, even though they had ginger beer).  Pretty decent wine by the glass list, but this is a true cocktail lounge - find something on the menu that looks appetizing or just ask them to concoct your favorite mixed drink.

Oysters and food / cheese selection was very good.  There was some drama with oysters, the waiter who brought out the oysters didn't tell us which ones were which (pet peeve!), and our waitress didn't know, so then she had to find the original waiter who kinda just blew through telling us like we annoying him.  But they were super fresh and cold so they get a pass on that.  What's better than cocktails and oysters?  Not much if you ask me!

Not really sure how to describe the decor, it's very retro / antique?  I would say an atypical Williamsburg crowd, higher level of classy, lower level of douchery.  I don't find myself if Williamsburg often, but I'll definitely keep this place on my list for next time I'm in the area!

L-O-V-E this place. Quietly tucked in a corner of a main street in Williamsburg, this place earns some serious props. You feel like you're sitting in someone's library back in the day yet there are tons of bottles of liquor all around you. Space is limited, drinks are strong and potent.

    A Williamsburg must do.

Seriously, I am just leaving there and I know that nobody gives a shit about a solo 1 star review but here goes. This was my first bad experience here in years but I have to vent.

I just finished celebrating a small gathering for a friend from Montreal's birthday. We went to the starlings of Dumbo, Hillside and Vinegar Hill House, to start the night; then dinner and drinks. Those were excellent btw and we had food, wine, and cocktails. Looking for a nightcap in Williamsburg, I suggested Delmano.

Man-o has this place's star fallen.

Despite being empty, we were manhandled into a table/server for our drinks rather than bellying up to the bar.Fine, everyone needs to live and work, but it seemed odd and unnecessary. We could have lived without "service" with the empty bar, especially because the server was just a little pushy.

Drinks came out. I tried a sip of the "brooklyn something or other". It was honestly straight up lemon juice. Birthday girl had a fancy martini, then something else cause she didn't like it either.

The check came, and exactly 15 seconds after we were told it was last call.... they turned the lights on to make us totally aware that it was time to GTFO. Which really sucks after they just sold us more $12 drinks.

Snotty waitress came by a couple of times rolling her eyes each time she passed when the check was was still on the table. Of course, she had just dropped the bill. To make things worse, one person paid via credit card and she took our cash, so the process stalled into total fuxnation. The staff took this as a time to sort of harangue us, with two other waiters coming over to inform us that we were the only table (except all their friends at the bar and various other patrons at tables) but the biggest problem besides the missing cash was the fact that they auto-grat'ed us despite the fact that 2 of our 6 had no drinks, service, etc AND didn't tell us, which really confused the total.

Some of the blame falls on us: we weren't expecting tax and tip included on our drinks when we were thinking bar service... especially with non drinkers in the group.

I felt pretty bad for suggesting the place. The song remains the same though: bad and condescending service + expensive drinks = finding a new place to hang for cocktails in the burg. It's really not like there's a dearth of places to shell out $12 a drink nowadays, with Donna, Wythe Hotel, etc and so on.

I just want a little class to go with the classy prices, and instead they rung the school bell and put us on the bus. Must be part of the Boston 1:30am school system.

The drinks here are actually to-die-for. Like a fellow yelper said "close your eyes and just point" to the menu, everything is delicious and perfectly crafted. Just pick your favorite liquor and choose any drink made with it.

The waiters in fancy vests and fancy mustaches are pretty great too. The vibe is excellent and it's a good place to get drinks after work, get drinks for someones birthday, have a fancy drink before a sloppy night out, etc.

In my opinion, a tie with Clover Club for best cocktails in Brooklyn.

Our friends took us to here after attending a funeral. We needed a pick-me-up and we found it at the Hotel Delmano.

The cocktail menu is a no brainer. Close your eyes and just point. You'll enjoy whatever you order.

I made a point to try several drinks full of ingredients and liquors I normally shy away from, and loved every sip.

We all shared some of the meat & cheese plates, and I really enjoyed the ricotta dip they offer. Really great, and needed after an afternoon of drinking.

We sat in the back room, next to the restroom. It started to rain outside, and our room quickly filled with people. It got loud, and the quaint ambiance shifted, but the pleasure level maintained.

The service was great. My only complaint, and it's a small and common one for NY, is that the tab of 12 people was all put on one bill, even though we were all only loosely traveling through the city together. It made paying a slow process, but hey. Not a big deal.

There was a period where I only had drinks here. It was a wonderful period of great libations... it was a bit of an expensive period too but worth every penny.

Actually if we are going to discuss costs-- the cocktails here are better and less obnoxious than the one at Death and Co and like 50% cheaper. So there's that.

I do not find any attitude-- sure Sam the head bartender broods a bit but he's so damn good at his craft, I'm not bothered. I don't need my bartender to be my best friend, just make me smile for a bit and that's achieved a hell of a lot faster by a good drink. My favorite thing about this place or Maison Premiere is walking in an saying "Something with Gin, cucumbers and mint please-- surprise me". And not having to worry about what they come up (I once asked for something with Bourbon and Chatuese and they rose to the challenge!).

The music is always perfect (a really hard thing to find in these Lady Gaga days we live in), the crowd never annoying (you have NO IDEA how important this is to me), and the drinks are delightful.

I can probably count the number of times I've been to Brooklyn on one hand. Pretty pathetic, I know. I'll be sure to go more often...

Sean S. took me here last night. The name on the door said "bar". If I were ever lost in BK before yesterday and wanted to catch a cocktail, I would've totally bypassed Hotel Delmano.

The names of the drinks are so unique and fun to say. I honestly cannot remember any of the drinks I had, but one of them was very gingery (delicious!), another tasted like bandages (the cheap kind where they leave sticky residue on your skin) and another called The Alibi. Sean had something called a "San Francisco Handshake" and something else that I cannot for the life of me remember.

We also ordered mixed olives and it was the first time I've ever tried an olive. I think it has an acquired taste. I don't think I'll ever eat one again.

I was really in love with the bathrooms though. Spacious and lightly dimmed, and the window on the door was frosted. Oh, and very clean. Even fell in love with the soaps (Mrs. Meyers liquid hand soap) that they had. The whole bar itself reminded me of a bar in a Western movie that you end up in when you're on a road trip or something.
