great selection of beers and a great space, especially for big groups. amazing pretzels

The beer selection and food were both good, and it's a cool space with the entire front open to the outside like that with long communal tables.  We sat at a table that didn't have a reserved sign on it but the manager came by and said we had to move for a registration, though apparently someone else had moved the sign off the table to a nearby fireplace.  Obviously the manager still has to move us to accommodate the reservation, and instead of just apologizing and doing that he also slid two small tables together for us, grabbed extra chairs from around the place and bought us a round of beers for the inconvenience.  My experience at beer gardens in NY, particularly the packed ones in Williamsburg, is that they have so much business that they feel no need to provide decent customer service.  It was really great that this guy took time out to get us seated and buy us drinks even though his place was already packed.

My first beer garden experience and it was muy fun! They have a variety of tasty beers for you to choose from.  The watermelon beer was an interesting one.  If you like watermelon, you should give it a go.

Aside from beer, they also have food.  The truffle fries were delish! And if drinking, eating, and chatting with your pals isn't enough entertainment, then you can play Jenga! Who would have thought that alcohol and Jenga would be so exciting and challenging.  Jenga Jenga Jenga!
