The atmosphere was great as was the company. Â We were seated quickly and the service was prompt. Â Our server was Matthew and he did a great job. Â For an app I got the beef veggie soup and thought it was really good. Â The veggies tasted fresh. Â The brie and chickpea soup was that our company had was also good.
The salads that came with dinner really didn't have any "love" with them. Â It was basic spring mix with a few nuts, cranberries, and no dressing. Â Not impressed.
The main course that I got was the shrimp and scallop with saffron and salsa.  I didn't taste ANY saffron and the shrimp and scallops were baked in a ceramic dish.  It wasn't overcooked, but the dish was half full of some kind of liquid so the food tasted boiled.  The last straw was the fact I got 3 shrimp and 2 scallops.  My wife got the tenderloin with frites.  The tenderloin was ordered medium and came medium well.  But the kicker was that the steak was about 3 ounces and smaller than a  hockey puck.
The pumpkin mousse for dessert was good, but the bread pudding seemed strange.
The flavors were ok for most of the items and the service was good. Â I might go back but be more inquisitive about the food and portions.
