  Came here with my dad and brother. Save the bartender, I was the only woman in the bar. My dad joked, "It was funny walking in behind you because I saw everyone turn and look at you and then their faces fall as they saw me come in after you."
  
  There are certain places you can roll to solo, and this is probably not one of them. I also would stick to the well-loved beers here or get a bottle, because my Newcastle wasn't freshy fresh (what do I expect at an Irish bar, I know; I expect the Guinness is fine). But yeah, if I was with a group and we wanted to get out for a couple beers, I'd take 'em here.

  Second visit.  Again the crowd is a sausage festival, but the bartender is female so it was less uncomfortable for GrandMa.
     Her Buffalo fingers, so so.
     My chicken curry, with curry sauce slathered on the fries, to die for.
     Bartender "Bridey", a nice lass from the Auld sod.

  it's a good day for the high stool
  
  spent most of last Sunday inside those windowless walls and loved every minute of it.
  
  FREE FOOD: purchased for my group of ladies by a generous patron.  we only had to endure endless ogling, mindless conversation and a one time pat on my pudunkadunk in exchange for a pizza and chicken fingers 'n chips. totes worth it.
  
  FREE BOOZE: the lovely later shift bartender won the pot for the football game and decided to share the wealth and bought everyone a round!

  After driving, riding, walking, crawling past JJs countless times, I decided to give it a try.
  
  JJ's is a small Irish pub.  They serve food and cheap drinks. Its definitely a locals bar, as everyone seemed to know each other.  We shared a pizza for an appetizer then had the twin lamb shank special for $10. It was a huge plate of food including veggies and mashed potatoes. The guy sitting next to me challenged me that i wouldn't finish it all - he was right.  My roommates got burgers, but were a little over cooked, but the fries were good.
  
  They have a lot of TV's, two dart boards, and a pool table. Cash Only!
  
  I will return.
