Horrible, horrible, horrible! This is the second time I have had a bad experience (they are 2 for 2 with that one) at this specific location. I don't know if they don't know English or just chose not to listen. I always order a #4 specifically because I love the combination of turkey, sprouts, and mayo.

Every time I tell them light mayo and extra sprouts and every time I get no sprouts and mayo that drips all over myself as I'm trying to eat. Also I think they over charge at this one because when I get it elsewhere it's at least $2 less.

BUY ER BEWARE my CREDIT CARD AND PERSONAL INFORMATION WAS STOLEN from here after my last order....

I have been a huge fan of Jimmy Johns for a long time.  Great food and fast, consistent delivery, until I found out that my credit card, and personal information had been stolen after this last order.

ALL of my credit card information, name, address ect, were stolen to make a fraudulent XBOX live account, which charged 74.99 to my debit card.

The reason that I suspect that is was someone employed at this location, is this account was created and closed the same evening of my Jimmy John's order.  The reason I suspect that it is someone employed at this location, is because it is the only instance that someone would have had access to not only my credit card information, but also my name an address to enable them to make a fraudulent online purchase.

My last Jimmy John's order is the only time in the past few weeks that I have used my debit card, and it seems more of a coincidence that a fraudulent charge would be charged on my debit card shortly after my last order.

The reason I know it is a fraudulent charge, is because I do not, nor have I ever owned an XBOX, nor do I have an XBOX live account.

    Great food! Great price!

This is the second Jimmy John's where I've picked up lunch to go (the first was in Austin, TX) and the food is consistant and deeeelicious! The order takers weren't as happy as the people at the Austin location.

Something to think about: Of all the places there are to have lunch in Chicago, this is where I walked to get lunch.

Had my first Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwich and truly enjoyed it.  Different and better than Subway.  Sandwiches with alfalfa sprouts and avocado spread are on the menu.  Twists on club sandwiches too.  The menu isn't outrageous but anybody who's hungry and wanting of a sandwich would be happy with their offerings.  I was.  :)

    Pros:

Fast service, friendly staff, fresher than subway, cheap delivery, quite a few choices and good chips.

    Cons:

No pickles to put on your sub and you have to buy a ginormous pickle (don't forget to ask them to slice it, or you will be in quite a situation), no wheat buns, not the best quality lunch meat, nothing toasted, not open late enough at this location for those of us that work late or have night classes.  AND they don't have yellow mustard!  What is this, New York?  Please.

A-OK is a perfect description of this place.

So it's a chain, fast food sandwich shop.  Big deal, right?  But this isn't Subway.  This was the first place I came on my recent trip to Chicago, and it was always a good backup on my previous trip there.  I got a BLT sub here.  It's a pretty simple order, but I was quite impressed with the quality.  The bread was fresh and soft, but substantial enough not to fall apart when you eat it.  The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh and crispy, and the mayo was just right.  And the bacon, oh the bacon.

There are many ways bacon can go wrong on a BLT.  Undercooked and you get a greasy mess.  Overcooked and you get a gross mass of over-salted shattered plastic.  Too little bacon and you can end up eating whole mouthfuls of just bread and mayo.  Too much and you might as well scrap the sandwich concept altogether and just have a plate of bacon.  The bacon in this sandwich was perfect.  It was cooked perfectly and they give you just enough to feel like you are having a substantial bite of the meat with each mouthful without overwhelming the sandwich.  Overall, just a great, simple BLT.

Do you know the difference between avocado and guacamole?
Do you know what  "...and a pickle" means?

I don't have much faith that know either.  Thanks, though.  At that moment I was starving and pretty much anything sufficed.

I love this location! They're always really friendly and quick here. They've never once screwed up an order, no matter how complicated or long. The prices are a little high, but the sandwiches are fantastic. I'm always full after eating there - and they have Dr. Pepper which is a plus in my book.
