My boyfriend and I went here on Valentine's day and loved the entire experience! We arrived 15 minutes earlier than our reservation time and we thought we would have to wait to be seated, but the gracious host sat us right away. The host greeted us like we were VIPs. When we say down at our table, we couldn't help but comment on the ambiance and decor of the restaurant. The space was open and inviting- it was upscale, but also felt comfortably casual at the same time. Our server was very friendly and the service was quick despite the large crowd. Â We started with the dumplings ( we got steamed beef) after reading a review on Yelp recommending them. There were 6 dumplings and they were incredible. I would've eaten just those the entire night. We then ordered the sushi and sashimi starter, which includes the chef sushi specials. The presentation was beautiful and the sushi and sashimi were spectacular. I thought I had experienced wonderfully fresh sushi before, but this was, by far, the best quality, freshest, and tastiest sushi and sashimi I have ever tasted. There is an extensive and varied menu that can fit anyone's craving- Thai, Chinese, Japanese. Â This is a place that I will be suggesting for a girls night out, another date night, and when having dinner with my parents.
Review Source:Koi is terrific, both in terms of service and food. I was there on a night when I needed the Chinese equivalent of comfort food. I sheepishly admitted to the waiter that what I'd really like is egg foo yung, expecting him to flash an understanding smile and then suggest something more inventive. "We have it," he  said. "But it's not on the menu." When he brought out the dish, it was amazing. There were two patties topped with a great chicken stir-fry done with my list of favorite veggies. The chicken was wonderful, light years away from the usual bone-dry white meat found in most stir-fries.
