Lincoln Way Grill

Alright so this place is the EPITOME of 'good old fashioned mid-west culture and food!' Loved it. I came with 2 of my girlfriends who I hadn't seen in a while and we were just talking and joking around. The place is really small and not exactly comfortable seating.

I ordered the french toast and was surprised that when I asked for fruit or tomatoes instead of links, I was told, "Honey, we ain't got no fruit or tomatoes, the closest thing we've go is strawberry shortcake!" I'm from California and so this was hilarious!

I ordered the turkey sausage instead of pork so that worked. The french toast was amazing! I totally recommend this place to any out-of-towner looking for some local flavor or if you're local - just looking for a great hole-in-the-wall to try!

GREAT BREAKFAST - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

If this is the same place, on Harrison and Lincolnway, then it's better than any other breakfast place in town.  I wish it'd open before 5 am.  Get the trucker special, enjoy the characters, slam on some excellent grub.

The best dive in town!!! Turkey sausage on request and a tasty French toast. We need more places like this in South Bend.
