After passing by this place a million times I finally decided to try it and I'm really glad that I did.

I had heard from a friend that their empanadas were underwhelming so I never stopped in. But today I was hungry for small snack and I love empanadas so I figured, why not?

The shop is very small, not a place to sit down for a long meal, but great to grab a quick bite or pick up some empanadas to go. The cashier was a friendly young lady. I ordered the champinon chicken empanada, and it was ready within a few minutes.

YUM it was GOOD. Fresh and hot, with delicious shredded chicken, cheese, mushrooms, other goods in the filling. And for a little over $2. Of course, if you wanted to make a meal of this place you'd probably want at least 3 of the empanadas.

Overall it was pleasant, fairly quick, and gave me the perfect snack this afternoon. Can't wait to try some of the other varieties.

Full Disclosure: I've never set foot inside this establishment, so I have no idea what it looks like or where it is and make no claims about the quality of the dining experience inside its 4 walls (this number is just a guess, I can only assume the business resides in a square-shaped layout).  However, I've ordered delivery from here many times and it always offers a cheap and different alternative from the usual landscape of delivery food options.  Below I will paste my typical order:

    1  Champinon Empanada  $ 2.49
    1  BBQ Chicken Empanada  $ 2.29
    1  Chori-Cheese  $ 2.39
    1  Apple Cinnamon Empanada  $ 2.29
    1  Choco-Banana Empanada  $ 2.29
    1  Beef Empanada  $ 2.29

I left the prices on there because that is an important aspect of its rating.  Each empanada is roughly 3.5-4 inches long in the typical half-moon shape. The above is more food than I usually eat in one sitting, but when viewed as 4 for dinner and 2 for dessert it doesn't seem nearly as embarrassingly gluttonous.  The Champinon Empanada is, in my opinion, the best and the Choco-Banana is not nearly as good as it sounds, you've been warned.

Pretty decent Empanadas. The dessert ones were my favortie. Nothing to write home about, though.
