Mici Handcrafted Italian

Tastiest zucchini pizza I've ever had. I don't know if it's the tasty crispy thin crust or the flavorful cheese but I just love it. I ordered the small for myself and had no problem devouring the whole thing. I also took some gelato to go and it's definitely the best I've ever had at a restaurant. I am a loyal customer.

So they market themselves as "homemade", but I can tell there were many things on this menu that weren't made in house. That said, my husband ordered the meatball sub and really enjoyed it. Those were actually homemade. I got the pasta primavera and I mentioned to he manager that this was their best dish... She agreed. The reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 3 is because the manager came over and ACTUALLY talked to me and really took my advice as an Italian-American and as a culinarian. I appreciated that. Also, she brought me out some walnuts to spice up the primavera since she was out of pine-nuts, which I suggested they start adding...  Also the pignoli cookies are the shiiiiit!

My first introduction to Mici was when Pura Vida had it catered in for their Anniversary Party. Since then, I have made them a standard go-to place when I am craving a tasty pie and am in the Cherry Creek area. We usually order one with thinly sliced zucchini on top which for some reason really goes well with the pizza. We also order the Cristofori which is a pesto pizza with chicken and artichoke hearts.

I've heard that they deliver, however, I'm usually in the area often and don't mind stopping in and picking them up.
