The best green curry I've had in Denver.
Granted, this is not "traditional" Thai cuisine (as they readily and playfully admit on their menu), but a modernized version from an American's take on the cuisine. Â They hit it right on.
Also had the edamame which had a really flavorful but not overpowering soy sauce as well as the spicy papaya salad which was a great balance of hot coconut rice and cold noodles, sweet rice and spicy noodles.
Watch out! This place packs a punch in some delicious cocktails. With a large, wrap around bar that acts as the focal point of the main dining room - you know you're in the right place when in the mood for a stiff drink. The mo pho was my drink of choice and the deliciously tart cocktail was just what the doctor ordered. I have heard they have quite an impressive happy hour, but I have yet to be so lucky to imbibe half off here. Just another reason to return.
The menu, maybe not entirely authentic, is still solid and boast some delicious dishes like the green curry served with chicken over a bed of rice. The sauce was beyond delicious with the perfect ratio of coconut cream and spicy curry flavor. When in the mood for something lighter, the Vietnamese salad is robust with tons of ingredients, like green cabbage, mint, basil, chilies, shallots, and toasted peanuts. Plus, the open, large restaurant seems to always have a table available at any time for any occasion!
