I bought a voucher for a comedy show with money towards food.  We arrived for the 8:30 show at 8:15 and found the place very Not busy.  We sat and were greeted about 5 minutes later by a waiter.  He took our drink order (which was a 2 person minimum at about $5-10 apiece) and handed us menus.  The menu consisted of hot dogs, hamburgers, and wings.  I asked the waiter where the menu I had seen online was, and he said they didn't have that food.  At about 9:00, the show started.  The 1st comedian, if that's what you want to call him, went on and was so crude it was disgusting.  He was not funny at all, but insulting.  The next act went on about 15 min. later, and that's when we finally received our food.  I ordered the cajun wings which were so hot you could hardly eat them.  I asked for blue cheese or ranch to tone them down and was told they didn't have any.  A little while later, he brought me some blue cheese and said he had to jump through hoops to get it.  The two other comics were horrible also.  I ordered onion rings, and never got them.  Needless to say, we left before the show was over because it was so disappointing.  I give this place a huge thumbs down!!!

I found this place through Groupon. Never of heard of it before then and I used to frequent the area it is located in quite often. Thought I would try it for our first date night in months and because it was something different to do in Ft. Lauderdale. I made reservations for the 8pm show. Got there about 10 minutes before and the place was empty. Aside from a few patrons in the downstairs bars, we were the first ones in the actual comedy club. The bartender was the only staff in the club section. Service wasn't bad though as at most there were only 12 people in the club. I ordered food and drinks. The food in general was on par with typical bar grill food. I would eat someplace else before coming here again for a show. My cheese fries had pieces of wax paper in it. My fiancée's philly cheesesteak i would swear was the same Steak Ums' you find at your grocer's freezer section, and the cheese was the liquid nacho cheese. Drinks were reasonably priced. Although they said they had Miller Light on tap, it tasted and looked exactly like Coors Light. The tap even said Coors Light. When I asked if it was Coors Light by accident, they assured me it wasn't. Other tables next to us had the same complaint. You be the judge. As for the show, perhaps it was a bad night, but out of the four comics only one was actually funny and it was not the showcase performer. He had a poor attitude through out the show. In fact he kept looking at his watch and announcing to the crowd in minutes how much longer he had to be up there. It was extremely uncomfortable for him and the crowd. To top it all off, the show started over and hour and half late. So much for reservations. We barely made it out there in time to relieve the babysitter. Overall, short of it being a big headliner, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

my understanding this has been open now for a short time and it was hosting its grand opening tonite. we received an invitation via email advise of a good time, free pinnacle vodka drinks, appetizers and comedy so off we went. it is located right off ft lauderdale beach. any area which we were told has been worked on and they are trying to bring it to life with various new business. this establishment is self we liked. it has 3 floors - bottom one is an area to eat and enjoy the weather outside (thou you can sit inside it is open to the outside) it was nice last nite with the cool weather. the second floor was where the stage where the comics where and after them came in a live band. the 3rd floor we did not get to but it sounds nice. there was a full bar service at both 1st & 2nd floors. we loved the decor - posters of the original national lampoon movie hung on the walls, nice juke box and friendly staff.. hats off to Mike general manager who's enthusiastic energy lite up the room as much as his cool golden sneakers!! he was very friendly and informative. the drinks kept coming all nite long... hubby enjoyed them and even a free shot of pinnacle for all!!! the appetizers where samples of their regular menu - crab cakes -these were amazing.... crispy outside and tender filling inside. potato skins - where a nicely thin cut topped with a scoop  of sour cream and chopped bacon bits!! delicious!! the chicken wings - finger licking good stuff!! i also enjoyed their garlic pastry - nice fluffy and garlicky. and the homemade meatballs!!! these we almost ripped out of the hands of the very nice waitress Misha? i believe is her name!! they were amazing in a nicely spiced red sauce. this is a place to check out local comics. since it is starting out not sure if you will be able to catch any big really known stars but we did get to see a few good acts. host jessica gross was funny and entertaining, first comic was a young man i believe his name was david or daniel not sure- he has great hair give him that, but he needs to work on his comedian skills..... next was one of the best of the nite, Wendy - we had seen her before at the south beach comic festival - she was funny then but funnier now!! she has a great future in the business we believe. her jokes where simple and to the point fun stuff
and finally was oni perez - we have seen him at another more commonly known comedy club in miami. unfortunately he lost his efforts to a rude group of a bit over drank patrons. he could never get his groove on - we have seen him and he was funny in past. this is a place with lots of heart and i believe that with a bit of hard work, it may just work out. menu is nice and prices are not outrages. they are reasonable. there are various events going on a weekly basis. check out their web site - you never know you may catch someone famous here one day.
