Le Marche Gourmet

Le Marche is the in house cafe at the Hilton Resort in Ft. Lauderdale. At first I thought it was a Starbucks based on the gratuitous use of the Starbucks name and logos; but they only brew Starbucks here. The coffee is pretty good but it sits in a thermos so the quality varies quite a bit. Some days it tasted stale, some days it was great. They also offer a line of sandwiches, pastries, and salads which range in quality from mediocre to good. Pricing is way over the top, for example, $9 for a small fruit salad, but hey, it's located in a hotel so it understandable that they gouge a bit.

Five stars for convenience if you're staying in this hotel. Three stars for the coffee and food. One star for the pricing.
