I had my sister's bridal shower here. Â Not only was the food delicious, but the staff was amazing. Â The waitresses didn't just serve the guests, they acted as party planners and worked extremely hard to ensure that everyone was happy. Â I've been here a few other times outside of the party and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere.
Review Source:A good Irish pub! Food was very good. Â Love the atmosphere. Â It gets loud with some of the music but how can you dislike a place that plays the Pogues and Drop Kick Murphy. Service was excellent. Â Authentic pub ambiance. Â Good people crowd. Â Good place to go St Patrick's weekend.
Review Source:I came here the other night with my mom for a quick dinner and, overall, I thought it was pretty good. There wasn't too much I was interested in on the dinner menu, but we asked for the bar menu and that was a lot better. I ended up getting a burger and it was good... nothing particularly special though (wasn't expecting it to be either). My mom ordered chicken quesadillas and I can vouch that they were good too since I ended up eating half of them. O'Malley's also has outdoor seating, which is always a plus... nice for the warmer months. Furthermore, out server was super nice and attentive.
Review Source:My fiancee and I stopped by after going to the mall nearby and were pleasantly surprised. Â The chicken pot pie was delicious, and the place has a classic old school pub feel to it. Â The only knock was that service was a little slow, but they had a big party going on in the back, which may have caused the delays. Â We don't live particularly close by, but if we're in the area again and looking for a good meal, we'll definitely be back.
Review Source:This is a solid Irish pub that sticks to what they know: booze and pub-grub. Â This is the place to go for a perfectly poured pint of Guinness (and I know my Guinness after spending my summers in Ireland) and a great burger.
Personally, I would spend more time at O'malleys if they had some solid craft beers as opposed to the typical Sam Adams (which is decent) and other bud/miller/coors garbage.
Well... After walking up and down main street for about an hour and a half trying to decide on a good place for grub my friends and I literally just said "enough of this, let's just go to the next closest place." This place happened to be O'Malley's. I have nothing in the area to compare it to because I had only visited Nyack once. However, I can honestly say that it has to be one of the better restaurant/bars on main street. Environment was clean, food was fresh and large portions were served for decent prices. I don't think anyone would be disappointed.
