NOT GOOD AT ALL!!! The dining room is filthy and seemed to be suffering from a very serious identity crisis, the food was either completely undercooked or totally over cooked. Â I had the falafel and a gyro sandwich. Â The falafel came out looking burned on the outside and it was still completely raw inside and tasted really funny... I didn't bother to finish them. My gyro was either prepared and then sat for a while or was microwaved, either way it was nasty and again I didn't bother finish it. Â
The other problem is that I showed up and the only guy there was no where to be found for a while, so I sat down and waited for service while listening to the musically challenged techno he had full volume in the back where I imagined he was probably fist pumping his life away instead of working to keep his business competitive with the far better options located only steps away from the front door.
I DO NOT RECCOMMEND, bad service, filthy dining room, lack luster service, weird guido dance music and overly underwhelming food. If that was the food I ordered from the menu, I'd hate to see what their buffet is like.
I came here with my roommate for dinner last night. The place is a bit confusing as there are two sides of the restaurant, one for take out orders and one for eat-in orders. The door to the eat-in side was locked. We were told to walk through the kitchen to get to that side. The eat-in side has decent ambiance, but it was definitely strange to walk through the kitchen to get there.
The guy in the kitchen was, I think, the only one working at the time. Service was a little slow but not unreasonably so.
We shared an appetizer of baba ganoush. It tasted like plain hummus to me, but whatever. I got the kufta dinner, with veggies and pasta salad. The pasta salad, while on the oily side, was very good. The kufta was spicier than I anticipated, but was delicious. I'm not sure if the amount of food was worth the price for the dinner, so next time I may stick to the sandwich part of the menu.
So an ok experience, of ok food, at an ok place. I give it an A-OK.
