I am a fan of Sitar. Going there for dinner or takeout is something to which I look forward during the week; it brings a whole lot of flavor into my life. ;}
There was up a "help desired" sign, for an additional server. ...So if your server feels a little stressed, tip him decently and support the business--that way they can more easily grow and improve.
The food is very good.
Very Poor Service...I wish I could give them 0 stars for this!
It is a shame that they are providing this horrific service and putting the entire Indian community to shame.
I had read not such good reviews but still decided to check it out. They forgot to give us the menus to begin with. The tandoori platter was cold, over cooked/leftover and the kebabs on the platter were bone dry and hard. The person who called himself the manager instead of listening argued, while refusing to give their names...or understanding that their customer had a concern...
It was the worst experience I have had going to an Indian restaurant in the US.
Take my advice and stay away.
I wouldn't even go there I they paid me to visit them.
I didnt do the buffet thing. I couldn't decide what to order- so I went with the "house specialty." It was great! I felt like I had a little of everything I like. Plus, it was enough food for a complete meal the next day. It was reasonably priced, tasty, with good service. It didn't blow me away- but it was a good indain dinner , and that was exactly what I was after. Good job...
