FANTASTIC.
Came here Friday night with my husband and four other friends and we were all very impressed by the food. My husband and I split the Egyptian hummus (supposed to be lower in fat and high in protein) and it was delicious.
I'm not a falafel fan but one friend ordered that for his appetizer. I have never had falafel that tasty before. I think I will order it next time I go (and yes, there will be a next time for sure).
All of us ordered gyros and the great thing was that you could specify your toppings. I had the classic gyro with beef and lamb, lettuce, cucumber, and onions. It was very filling, and I had to knife and fork it because it was so big. Between that and the hummus we split, I was stuffed.
The prices were great. For the hummus appetizer, two gyros, and a beer (2X IPA for $3!), our order came to a total of $27. The best part was that we had a Groupon.
This place will become a regular for us.
The renovations are great and I love the atmosphere.
The food is pretty awesome. I've had the falafel and the classic gyro and both were great. I like that you can choose a number of different toppings. There are about 10 free toppings and then about 10 that range from $0.50 to $1.00. The tzatziki sauce comes on the side and is freaking fantastic.
The tribal fries are amazing as well and I thoroughly enjoyed the baklava.
