Nice atmosphere, good food, above average beer and wine selection.  Still new and finding its footing with staff and consistancy of product, but overall very high potential.  I've been there twice and had pizza once and a sandwich once, good selection of products.

Great pizza.  You can actually taste and tell that higher quality ingrediants are used.  Service was a little slow and our waitress seemed to disappear a lot, otherwise I would have rated this 5 stars.

I'm not sure what exactly a "Pat LaFrieda" burger is, but I AM sure that it was the greatest burger that has ever touched my lips.  I mean, I seriously need to go through all my burger reviews and take off a star now that I know there is a burger like this in the world.  Everything on it was fresh and perfectly cooked too...the egg, the bacon, the bun, (What kind of bun is this?  It's magical.), everything.

We also had some mozzarella wedges with the only marinara dipping sauce I have EVER liked.  EVER.

And there is a decent craft beer list to boot.  You can even get a mixed six pack to go.  They were not messing around when they threw Burgers and Brews on the sign.

    Pizzeria Bombola, I love you.

Yes. I LOVE this place. It's only my first time here but I think I wanna marry this place.

The bar is loaded with big screens and boozes... the draft selection is pretty swell, too. Some craft brews and old favs line two rows of beer-pulling joy.

Lotsa nice whiskeys to complement your beers n burger. The bar is well stocked with great brands and wide variety for each libation preference.

I had the 9-spice chicken sammach. Not very dressed up for a sammy- a little lettuce and an onion slice on a deliciously beautiful roll-  but the breast was slathered in a spicy paste that definitely left a sizzle. Surprisingly satisfying. Big breast hiding under a cute bun... [drool...]

The SOTD was a ravioli soup, sorta like a minestrone with ravioli... Deeee licious and piping hot.

The house side-salad that came with the sandwich was cute in it's tiny little bowl and stacked up nice and neat but it was tiny. Tasty Italian dressing and an incredibly crunchy big-ass crouton made the salad worthwhile.

Specials on the draft beers were cool, too.

Monday let's you order appetizers and then flip a coin to see if they are free!!

People all around me were getting wings and burgers and pizzas... I gotta go back here soon!!!

Definitely need another location in the NW burbs!!!!!!!!!

My experience with Bombola can only be described as fantastic!!!

First off, it is a nice place. Nice atmosphere and the craft beer selection is great. I'm a fan of any place with Lagunitas brews on tap.

We have been there a couple times now and we have tried the beer nuggets and the meatballs as appetizers. They were both great. Everyone enjoyed them. Their pizza is also very tasty. My kids order their own personal size pizzas and my wife and I really enjoy the Buffalo Chicken pizza! They don't skimp on the toppings.  Plus their toppings are all fresh.

Their customer service is always top notch. More places should be like this.

If you have driven by thinking of giving them try, DO IT!! You will not be disappointed.

This has become our favorite pizza place in Naperville!

Pizzeria Bombola has quickly become my favorite pizza place in Naperville. Really nice to have a nice place to go and enjoy the atmosphere here too. The pizza ingredients are really top-notch and very fresh. My wife and I like to go here with friends for a night out, or we've gone with the whole family too. Oh and you have to get the Beer Nuggets as an appetizer!

Great service. Nice place. Reasonable Prices. Fun!

Our first experience here and it was pretty good. The only complaint was the crust was a bit wet, but overall we had a great meal. I had the buffalo burger, perfectly cooked and perfectly spiced. The crispy onion curls were excellent. My wife had the pizza. She loved it, but did complain about the soggy crust. We took half home and reheated it on a pizza stone, and that made it perfect.

YUM!! Delicious thin crust pizza and the beer nuggets were awesome fluffy bites of heaven. AND they have Crispin Hard Cider. When we forgot our leftover pizza, one of the managers chased us into the parking lot to give it to us! Awesome!!! We will definitely be going back! And our waitress Rachel was fantastic! Love this place!!!

This is definitely  in my top 2 for best burgers in the area.

They had a great beer menu including several craft brews on tap, priced reasonably. When I went I was able to get a legit glass of Lagunitas IPA for $5 and the burger that followed was amazing.

I got the Pat Lafrieda burger.... the meat quality was fantastic, well worth the $3 premium on their regular burgers.

My wife got the hangar steak sandwich. She loved it and the bite I got was great. The white BBQ sauce was great on the sandwich and even better on the fries.

The sweet potato fries were great, not burnt and not greasy.

The service was exceptional. We were seated quickly, the staff was personable without being intrusive, always polite and quick to refill and clear plates without rushing us.

The only reason I can't call this my #1 spot for burgers ( I'd go as far as tied for #1, but it didn't blow my old favorite out of the water) is that the portion size wasn't quite up to what the pictures made it out to be..... that burger looks a lot bigger in pictures. Now, that's not to say that anything was skimped on. Prices were very fair for what we got and some of the lighter eaters in my group left with take home containers.... I'm just a total oinker and love monster burgers.

So, with very fair prices, great burgers, good drink prices and selections, and fantastic service I will definitely be back and I will definitely recommend this place to friends.

I visited  this restaurant shortly after they opened early this year - I recall it being a good experience.  The pizza was a little thin for my liking.  Tonight I ordered a pizza because I had a $5 off coupon...so medium cheese pizza for $10 total (via pick up)  This pizza reminds me of my beloved Armand's in Elmwood Park which closed some time ago (I think) because I used to live out in that area.  It was VERY tasty...not to be compared to Armand's but similar.  Not too thin, not too thick...just right.  This place is definitely among my top pizza places in the area!

Took the family early on a Friday night - we were practically the only ones there (but more customers came in after we started eating).  The kids were kept satisfied with coloring pages and our waitress brought their orders before ours without our asking.  Everyone loved the food (kids got pasta & burgers, adults got pizza and beer nuggets).  The beer nuggets especially were amazing (far better than Pizza Villa in DeKalb, the only other place I know of that has these doughy balls of wonder)... very garlicky and the marinara they came with was superb.  Beer selection is very good and prices are average.  Service was fast and friendly - prices were a bit steep ($45 for a family of four after a 20% off coupon & with tip), so this will be a once-in-a-while treat, but one I will definitely look forward to!!

    Overall pleasant experience.

Their meatballs are delicious -- had them for appetizer and on the pizza. I must say, the marinara that came with the meatballs is quite exceptional.

The beer selection is well, selective: Anchor Steam, Lagunitas and the like.

I was expecting more of a sports-bar atmosphere, but it's definitely not. It has the TV's and the bar, but it maintains a welcoming and homey feel. The service is friendly, to boot.

Check it. I'll be going back -- definitely.

I stopped in because another place was too busy on 1/2 price chicken wing night.  I had a very good veggie pizza and hard cider. YUM!  The burgers looked pretty good too. This is a step up from the typical bar food in the area. I will be back.

The only reason I didn't give this place five stars is due to personal taste, but I recommend this restaurant to everyone. The success of a pizza is so subjective since some people prefer more sauce, some prefer a thicker crust, you get the point. The Bombola pizza was great; however, I usually prefer my crust to be crispy through the middle, and I think the amount of ingredients on top made the middle a bit soggy. Also, I was surprised by the amount of sweet peppers on top because I was expecting there to be more heat. I fixed this minor problem with some crushed red pepper, but again, these are based on my personal preferences. The Bombola pizza is delicious, regardless of my knit picking, so do not hesitate to order it.
The mozzarella wedges were perfect appetizers: the cheese (again) was rich and creamy and the breading had good flavor. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. Draft beer was $3 (on Monday) so I took advantage of that deal as well. I hope this place does well because I want to try more menu items. In other words, try this restaurant and bring your friends!

We were very excited to try this new restaurant. The food is a little pricey and the burgers were ABSOLUTELY greasy! The burgers did not come with any lettuce, tomatoes, etc.. on the side. Very plain! The bun seems to be soaked in grease. Very artery clogging food! Also, the fries were nothing special and the onion straws were not onion rings, but were tiny deep fried, greasy, and soggy curly onion things. SO unhealthy, would NOT come back!

My boyfriend and I just LOVE this restaurant! Everything I've tried has been delicious!
The pizza, the mozzarella sticks, the bombola, the salads, everything is made with love!
The service is attentive,  the bar is friendly and fun to hang out in!
    This place is killer awesome!

We will be regulars! I heard about this place through a client of mine and we've been hooked from the very first dining experience!

    Definitely coming back here again!
Just an awesome place. For starters, I went on a weeknight, and the place wasn't dead (which says a lot, considering it's not in the middle of downtown naperville, etc). Even though they were pretty busy, we were seated right away and our waiter came right over.
As far as the menu goes, I'll start with the drink menu. I've recently become a huge fan of IPA and craft beers, trying to depart from the college bar Miller Lite, Coors Light, and Budweiser selection. Unfortunately most bars don't have a lot to go off of, and most restaurants really don't (sometimes I get bored with Stella). Bombola had Lagunitas (a favorite of mine), and several other choices I intend to order on return visits.
I started off with just a standard pepperoni pizza. Usually, my first time trying new pizza, that's a go-to. A little pricy BUT WORTH IT. They use real cheese, not the giant bags of processed crap that you get at some places. The sauce is awesome, with a flavor that I couldn't quite place (they must season it with something) and the crust is very light and flaky (not the stretchy crap I've had at some other places out here). My date had a sandwich, and a bowl of soup that actually looked (and tasted, she said) like something that was made in-house, instead of pulled out of a can.
Not only was our waiter very attentive, the manager makes rounds here, chatting with patrons and making sure everyone is sastisfied. That's huge for me, since it actually says "I care about my restaurant, I'm not sitting in back playing Solitaire on my PC." On the way out, the hostess even asked if everything was good (she wasn't standing at her station texting like a lot of the other bars I've been to out here).
I would definitely say I had no complaints here; the food was delicious, the service was awesome, and the drink menu was phenomenal.
Add to that they seem to actually read and reply to these reviews and I would easily add more stars if I could.

The Bombala appears to be a relatively new place in the area and the decor is striking once you enter the premises. Someone clearly spent some time decorating the place. The menu offered a number of choices, easily able to satisfy whatever you might be looking for. I went with the calamari appetizer and a couple of pizzas. The calamari was clearly fresh and it was expertly breaded. The pizza was even better; crust, sauce and cheese. What was clearly noticeable and, what definitely took this pizza over the top was the use of fresh ingredients; you can taste the difference. I was back the following weekend to sample the burgers; I went with the 'World Famous La Freida' burger. Outstanding. This is one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. Other noteworthy items regarding the Bombola: outdoor patio for dining and a beautiful bar area. I look forward to my next visit!

Mary and I went here on a random day.  The service was less than great, but the food made up for that.  Also the "host" if he is the owner or whatever, a great genuine, person.  The waitress forgot our app, and was super slow with the drinks, but the app was bought by them and we got a coupon to come back.  WE WILL be going back hoping for the same great food with a better helping of service.  The bombolo balls or whatever they are, are friggin awesome!

Perfect place to dine! Best addition to the area! The food is phenomenal and the service is outstanding. Management really goes out of the way to give you a great dining experience. It's my new go to pizza place!

    ***UPDATE****
If you're looking for something light, delicious and quick to eat for lunch, go in there and order the "Summer Greek salad special." It is a finely chopped Greek salad with extra cucumber and chopped crustinies (baguettes with olive oil and Parmesan cheese). It is not on the menu so I custom order it that way. Management is very accommodating and the salad turns out delicious every time. My favorite salad prepared just the way I like it!

    Thanks Bombola staff!

There's a lot of good going on here. Lisle is a bit of a hike through typically bad traffic to get to from where I live so I probably won't be a regular, but if I'm in the area I could see it being a definite stop.

The food is pretty good here. The pizza is above average with an especially tasty savory sauce. The mozarella wedges (basically breaded cheese sticks, but you know, in a triangle shape) were really good, with the cheese at just the right consistency and the breading nice and delicious.

The service was the kind where you didn't really notice the waiter because he was on top of things before you even realized you needed them. Just a good quality, efficient service that was attentive without being anything near intrusive. (My wife and I were engaged in a pretty fun, but intense conversation at the time, so this was appreciated).

The prices are pretty fair and they have a lot of specials throughout the week including half off appetizers and pizzas, so you can get a pretty inexpensive meal when all is said and done.

So while the place wasn't quite blow-me-away enough to make me want to make the drive on a regular basis, I was still plenty impressed and have to figure I'll be back at some point or another.

I've been wanting to try this place out for a while but never got around to it. The other night, my parents invited me to join them for dinner. So off we went. I was impressed!

The servers are VERY well trained and professional. They thoroughly know the menu and were attentive. I had the pizza, which was well above average. It had real cheese (yes, I can tell) and an awesome thin, almost cracker-like crust. My mom had a beef sandwich, which was huge. Dad had the meatballs in fried dough (I forget what they called it). He didn't much care for those, but I think it was more that he misunderstood what they were when he ordered. We also shared the fried onions as an appetizer. They were very good and not greasy. This wasn't a fluke because I swiped a few of my mom's fries and they were not greasy either. Mom took half her sandwich home.

Our total tab was a little over $50 for the three of us, which included a few beers and a glass of wine. I'm not sure how it breaks down because Dad picked up the tab (thanks, DAD!), but fifty bucks or so for three, including drinks and an appetizer is totally reasonable.

By the time we left (about 6 pm on a Friday), the joint was filling up. Little wonder. It's a winner.

As an aside, I have a history with the place. It used to be Jake's Pizza back in the 80's and was our high school hangout, complete with trampy waitresses before Hooters was born. Aliotta, Haynes & Jeremiah ("Lake Shore Drive") played there when Jake's closed. We picked up my buddy's Volkswagen and moved it to the other side of the parking lot one night. The building has personality; I'm glad it still comes through.

Bombola made a great first impression and I will definitely place it on my list of regular stops. Very well done!

Thith Pitharia Bombola ith good sthtuff. I mean the pitha is pretty tasthy.

But HOLY FLAMING CHEESE, BATMAN, wait a minute before you bite into that slice or you will end up talking like me because you burnt your tongue!

We have been in search of a good local pizza place and I'd been wanting to try Bombola out. Note to self: Westbound Ogden traffic kinda sucks, even on a Tuesday.

Anyway. The menu's pretty simple, which I've decided is usually a good thing -- it means they're not trying to do *everything*. They have appetizers, salads, pizzas, a few sandwiches and a few pastas. That's it. (Oh, and a pretty good beer and wine list for a little pizza place.)

We went pretty straightforward: mozzarella wedges and a 14" pepperoni.

The mozzarella wedges came out very quickly. They were hot but not "ow ow ow" hot, so we dug right in. Nice ooey-gooey cheesy goodness and a tasty, garlicky sauce for dunking.

The pizza came out just a short while later. It's very thin, a little crunchy, nicely browned around the edges. The pepperoni is tiny. Oh, and did I mention it's very hot and the sauce is practically molten!?

Mouth burns aside, it was very tasty -- although a bit greasy as well. You'll need those extra napkins. The cheese broke off well and I only got one mouthful of "it all came off at once". I imagine it would make good leftovers but who knows -- we ate it all :)

Service was good, lots of checking on us, lots of water refills, and a nice surprise when the bill came: the appetizer was half off! Is this a regular Tuesday night thing? Did we look nice? Did we say the secret word? We may never know.

Here's what I do know, though ... next time, I'm going to wait five minutes to minimize the mouth-burn.

Went to eat here with my family for a tuesday night dinner. I was schocked when we walked in how well they remodeled the building. The decor was warm and welcoming. I really liked the rustic atmosphere of the dinning room. Our waitress was friendly and quick to take our order. For dinner we started with the cheese stix and I had the cheese pizza. The cheese stix were ok but nothing special. They were the frozen kind that places get ina  box. The pizza was also ok but nothing memerable. Over all I thought the food here was ok. I can see this being one of those places we go when we are sick of our useual spots.

    Impressive!
The owners are working the floor actually managing the business.
The server was prompt and knowledgeable.
    The food was delivered fast.
Our fried cheese appetizer was not the ordinary.GOOD!
Our pizzas, margharita and buffalo chicken toppings were excellent quality. I thought the crust was too thick and just Ok. My wife liked it.
We overheard the next table raving about the fried doughnuts and boy were they right!
The same table was singing the praises of the hanger steak sandwich. Next time!
    We will definetly go back.

Went to Pizzeria Bombola for lunch on a Friday afternoon with a group of 5 and we fortunately did not have to wait for a table because we were short on time.  Given the time crunch, no one ordered pizza but rather sandwiches and burgers.  I had the Italian Sub which was a good choice; everything about the sandwich was fresh, it was hearty, and the hot giardinera made it just right!  2 of the other guys ordered the Pat LaFrieda burger which they were fans of.  I heard good things about the sweet potato fries, the onion strings, and the White Barbecue sauce.  Next time I hope to try the pizza so I can bump my rating to 5 stars.

YELP:  Please tell me how come all the 5 star reviews just happen to get filtered?
    Lets try this again!

Let me just start off by saying that our family has very complex dietary needs. My husband is a meat eater.  I have three college age daughters that are Vegetarian and or Vegan. The girls love craft beers. I require a Gluten free menu with no dairy (except goat cheese) . Ok, I also love a good glass of wine.
You would think that with all the restaurants in the Naperville/Lisle area....we would be able to find a place to eat.  NOT SO!  It is so frustrating that restaurants don't see that dietary needs are changing.

We were with our Vegan daughter when we gave Bombola a try.  We decided to order 3 personal pizzas.  The "big guy" ordered the rosario pizza. I ordered a veggie pizza with Gluten free crust and goat cheese. The daughter ordered herself a veggie pizza without cheese at all!  They never gave us an "Oh my gosh" dirty look. They couldn't have been MORE accommodating!

My husband loved the fabulous flavor of the rosario. Roasted garlic & sausage... yumm. My crust was the best Gluten-free crust that I have had so far. And the Vegan pizza was outstanding even without cheese!

We have been back several times since. I have had the Spinach Salad... So Good! My husband also loves the Italian and Hanger Steak Sandwiches. But he can't say enough about the Burger! It is a (Pat Lafrieda burger?) I don't know what that means but he can't stop talking about it! Oh, and it also has a croissant bun!  But they offer a Gluten Free Bun for people like me!  YAYY!  I can finally have a hamburger again!

The Wine and Craft beer selection is great.  We love the feel of the Bar area too!

The Service is so friendly and they always treat you like family.  We love Mertala (not sure if I'm spelling that right) and Jillian.  They listen to our needs and are extremely accommodating! AND they remember us when we come back!
I also love when the owner and manager are willing to walk up to tables to make sure that we had a fabulous dining experience. Restaurants don't seem to think that that is important anymore.

Time to check out the newest Ogden addition to the Naperville & Lisle area! Inside it's both airy and intimate with a casual, semi-rustic Italian theme, a la wine bottles lining the walls (can you order them? I don't know). Our server was prompt and knowledgeable and recommended different beers to go with our pizza; they have Fat Tire, Magic Hat & Lagunitas IPA on tap, among others, which is a good start.

The food itself was good.  The pizza was a little underwhelming, which is unfortunate when that's your main sell, but we still scarfed it down. I would definitely recommend the mozzarella sticks, though - the gooey wedges of fresh mozzarella lightly battered and fried were a perfect way to start the meal.  A bigger focus on light, simple Italian ingredients like the mozzarella wedges will probably serve them well.

I think Pizzeria Bombola has a lot of potential, and Heaven knows that Naperville lacks good Italian & pizza restaurants outside of the downtown. I'm sure I'll come back in a year or two and see how far there pizza will have come, but I'll really be looking forward to their pastas & appetizers.

Good addition to the local restaurant scene in Lisle/Naperville.   We thought we would try them out - Friday nite, ~6:30 - got a table after a very short wait.  Tried the mozzarella wedges - average.  Had a bowl of Clam Chowder soup - pretty damn good.  Next was a Italian beef for me and the 9 spice chicken sandwich for Linda.  Wife described the chicken sandwich as a tasty "Kung Pao" chicken on a bun.  I really liked the beef sandwich - probably would rank it my 2nd favorite (Marcello's in Chicago being my current all time fav.).  Blue Moon on draft, a pomegranate margarita and splitting a vodka laced Creamsicle in a glass kind of ice cream drink for a finish(very tasty).  Good attentive service in spite of the restaurant being totally full to capacity.  We will be back to try the pizza next.

Dear Bombola: You sure know how to make a crappy first impression.

It's a fabulous spring day and we wanted to go sit outside for lunch, so a group of 5 of us decided to check out the new pizza place.  As we passed through the restaurant on the way to the patio, it looked pretty nice. That's about all I have good to say.

We ordered drinks. Three iced teas and two waters. The server delivered two of the iced teas to the table and then promptly spilled the other three beverages on my friend.  She was very apologetic and brought out napkins. Fortuntaly it was warm and sunny and she was able to dry out some before returning to the office.

We moved on with our lunch and ordered sandwiches. They were fairly quickly and looked tasty, but we all agreed they were very hard to eat. There was too much bread, the bread was very very hard to bite through and I couldn't even cut through some of it with my knife. I had the veggie sandwich and at least the veggies were pretty tasty.  One friend had the salami and said it was very good, except for the issue with the bread. The last three people in our party had prosciutto and it was pretty fatty.

The server never came back to check on us.

We never got refills of our tea (so $2.50 for one glass of iced tea)

AND they didn't comp anything for my friend after spilling drinks all over her.

    Pretty disappointing.

This is definitely a new gem in the Lisle/Naperville area. I went here last week with my family and had a great time.

First, they completely redid the inside which gives it much better ambiance. They have multiple booths and tables, but what I really liked were the large tables for larger parties. We have a huge extended family and I could see us choosing this as our next night out together.

On to the food: yummy. We started by splitting the Greek Salad. My mother is a nut about 'good salads' and gave their salad a thumbs up! It was actually awesome-- good greens, lightly dressed with great quality feta, onions and olives. The pizza came next and we were not disappointed. We ordered one of their specials called the Rosario (??) and it was delicious. It had Italian sausage, two different cheeses and roasted garlic. Definitely not something you should order on a date, but when you're there with your folks, who cares?

Also tried the eggplant Parmesan... Well, I didn't eat much of the eggplant but that's because purple vegetables are freaky. This was a non-breaded eggplant Parmesan, so you are really getting the flavor of the veggie (which is good to eggplant lovers, but not so much for me). The side of pasta with marinara sauce that came with the eggplant was addicting though! The sauce was very unique and delicious, coming from someone who is usually not a fan of pasta and red sauce. I will be back to try more of their pasta selection. The Penne Vodka with prosciutto looked enticing.

They have a great selection of wine and my father was pleased with his beer. Our service was top notch from a young guy named Justin. We also met the owners who are hilarious and welcoming. Gotta love any place where the owners take the time to see if you enjoyed your meal.

Very happy to add this place to our rotation!

I paid $20 for a beer and a 12 inch "speciality" thin crust pizza.

I think this might be a little steep for lunch.

The pizza was the "greek" pizza with feta, onion, chicken and some other stuff. The crust was crisy and nice but.... I don't think it was a $13 pizza- it's only thin crust after all.

My friend had the"speciality" pizza that had red and yellow peppers and sausage on it. It did have a lot of peppers on it - I was suprised, but again $13 for thin THIN crust?

The waitess was nice, the interior an improvement from the former restaurant in this place and the beer selection not too bad for a general resturant place. The waitress offered to split the check for me and my friend which I thought was pretty nice.

But don't get hog wild about the beer- it's not the Lodge down the street.
It's also NOT my garage fridge( which is also down the street and boasts the best selection of beer in the west burbs besides the Lodge.)

The most interesting beer thing was Magic Hat. This should give yo an idea about the depth of the say 10 beers of the list.

Stopped by for a meal and to watch the bulls game. We sat in the bar area. We were a little stunned to learn that while they have numerous tv's, several tuned into the game, they didnt have the sound on. When asked, the server explained they normally dont have the sound on because it would be distracting to the dining area. Thats cool, but why such a nice bar area with so many tv's? It wasnt that big of a deal, but in the future, if we are out to watch the game we would go somewhere else.

The food was okay. We tried the 9 spice chicken and pizza. The sandwich was spicy but tasted fresh. If you like spicy I would recommed trying it. The pizza was okay as well. Nothing out of the ordinary.

    The service was top notch.

The picture is of the place I ate, the address is the same, but I must have missed something.

We got there early and were seated right away.  We watched the room fill, people order, get their pizza, eat their pizza, get their bill ~ while we sit and WAIT.  Here's what happened.

We ordered the mozzarella wedges and they arrive in minutes.  Nothing special, just a little different shape, and not nearly enough sauce to eat with them.  That gets cleared away so we'll wait for this signature pizza.  And boy did we wait.  We watched 3 other tables that had arrived after us, get their pizza, while we waited.  Even the waitress seemed surprised that we had not received our pizza.  Another table that arrived after us, did not order pizza, but ate their meal and left, and we waited.

Waitress kept coming over and saying it should be just a few more minutes ~ nothing.  Then she came over and said, okay it's coming now ~ and we watched another table get their pizza.  FINALLY, our pizza arrived.  Nothing special, really.  My husband kept saying we had been bamboozled at Bombola.  Owners/managers? walked around the room speaking to diners, nobody came to our table.

Overall, not an experience worth repeating.  If you don't order pizza your options are VERY limited.  And, it is very loud, not conducive to conversation.

Myself and two other colleagues had lunch here today.  All three of us had pizzas and they were really really good.

I had the Rosario (Ital Sausage, Roasted Garlic and three kinds of white cheese).  Mikey-boy also had the Rosario but with no sausage and JR had the Bombola (Ital sausage, pepperoni, red/yellow peppers, red onions and mozzarella).

They are fired up in a pizza oven so you get that nice semi-burnt, crispy texture on the pizzas.  The Rosario with the three cheeses make it nice and gooey.  Sausage was crumbled and the roasted garlic was perfect.  People have to remember that roasted does NOT mean you're going to scare away vampires after eating.

It is a nice sweet, soft flavoring on the palate that perfectly matches the sausage.

Waitstaff were very attentive and were helpful going through the specials of the day.  Since we all had pizzas it's unfair to rate the rest of the menu but we'll be definitely going back.

Those of us that have been around for a long time remember this building as Jake's Pizza and then Pete & Johnny's.  This one is a winner as a replacement.  Can't wait to try the pasta dishes and maybe some starters next time.  Also might want to come at night because the extensive beer, wine and liquor list was something to behold.

I came here on a Friday night two weeks after it opened, we were able to get a table at 7:30 right away, although the dining room was relatively full.

The service was excellent, our server went out of his way to accomodate us.  The decor is really nice as well.

We ordered mozzarella wedges, and the 5 cheese pizza that is made without sauce.  We thought the pizza would be more like cheese bread, but it really did taste like pizza.  I did succumb to my need for sauce and asked for some marinara sauce, and the server brought a full bowl of it for me.  We really enjoyed the pizza.  The  beer selection is above average for a restaurant in the area.

We will definitely be back and it is nice to have a nice sit down pizzeria in the area!

Came here with a friend based on a co-worker's recommendation.   I really like what they did with the interior of the place and the bar looks really nice.  Our bartender was very attentive and she always made sure we had everything we needed.  We split an order of the mozzarella wedges and a pepperoni pizza. The wedges were average and kind of heavy. The pizza was good and the 10" small size was perfect for lunch.  They also have a good selection of craft beers on draught.  Overall, much better that it's predecessor

Stopped in there with a friend to check it out.  Ambiance is very nice and relaxed, employees were very nice.
Had the Mozzarella Cheese Wedges, honestly they were the creamiest i have ever had, they were delicious!  also tried their White Barbecue Sauce, a mayo based sauce with a nice BBQ flavor......very excellent.
