  I always sit at the bar and get great service and the food has been excellent. Drinks are creative and varied and the bartender will mix you anything you'd like. It's a quiet scene and a perfect one at that for anyone looking for a good meal, fairly priced, without the crowds and noise.

  This is the restaurant at the Talbott Hotel, where I stayed recently. Due to a pretty hectic schedule, we had several occasions where eating at the hotel was the most practical, so this review is based on several meals over the course of a week. The room and sidewalk dining have a great vibe about them and it's a pleasant place to dine.
  
  The menu is pretty limited and the service is spotty. Waiters disappeared at times (which is odd given how small the place is) and we often found ourselves with empty glasses or in need of something. Requests were sometimes forgotten or perhaps disregarded (e.g. asking for more butter and never getting it). It wasn't terrible just annoying at times. The servers were so friendly it is difficult to be critical of them. It seemed as though the managers were more concerned with their hipster status than with what was actually happening in the restaurant, and frankly they seemed out of place. I suspect that's the root of the problem.
  
  I will say that despite the limited menu and the sometimes awkward service, the food was quite good. I enjoyed every meal enough that I was willing to overlook the other concerns. Definitely worth a try if you're staying in the hotel but I would not choose to visit PT over the many other great restaurants in the Gold Coast area.
