  To call this place a "dive" is an understatement. Not to mention, it offered some of the rudest, most apathetic service I've ever experienced.
  
  I stopped there because it has a dog friendly porch, and I had my dog with me. I was summarily ignored by two members of the wait staff who walked past my table multiple times without greeting me or otherwise acknowledging my presence. I eventually just got up and left.
  
  I should probably feel thankful, because I can't really afford a trip to the emergency room to treat the case of food poisoning I would inevitably contract from this god-awful hole anyway. Rest assured, I won't be back anytime soon.

  3.5 stars for the Red Lion Pub.
  
  The food is your standard pub grub and the beer selection is decent.  Prices are also consistent with other beach bars in the area.  This seems like it's a place for locals to hang out and won't appeal much to tourists or those looking for a gastropub or anything other than a cold brew and cheap eats.  They also have daily specials like an all-you-can-eat prime rib dinner for around $14.  Our friends told us their pizza is hit or miss, but when it's made right it's really good.
  
  Nothing wrong with this place, but I don't see us coming back unless our friends who live in the area invite us over again.

  With it's red phone box sitting outside, you definitely notice this bar just opposite the beach. This place is a hole, no doubt about it. But it is the best bar that happens to be at the beach i've ever been to. I happened in with a group of 12 when staying at a friends beach house & Made sure to come back the next day.
  
  The crowd is...let's say eclectic. Deadheads, beach bums, bikers etc. I sat at the bar for at least an hour playing jenga with the (attractive) bartenders while getting stiff $4 Crown & 7's. Plenty of tv's, darts, pool tables & barspace to go around. I want to go back to the beach just so I can sit at this bar.

  Didn't really seem "londoney" or "pubbish"...more like a seedy hole in the wall, but the bartender...she was nice. Will I return...probably not.

  Great place for beach locals. Voted best Wings on the beach for three years in a row. Tuesday night's wing night can be standing room only. Fun, friendly staff with good food.
