I love this place! Quick over view. It's in a restored house in Lo-Hi and by restored I mean I would buy it tomorrow if it were on the market. Clearly the owners have made it possible to convert back into a house and sell for top dollar. A GORGEOUS bathroom is the main bathroom for the place and I would love a tour of the kitchen!
Sorry, real estate excites me but I digress. The hookah is totally top notch and they serve Reishi tea, which in my opinion is one of the best. I had to knock off one star for the fact that it is, still, a house. This limits seating as people sit in the "dining room" "bedroom" etc. which means that there is very little privacy from your neighbors. Obviously this isn't anything they can control being as how the establishment is housed in a, well, house.
Compared to the other scanty selection of Hookah bars in Denver this one is by far the best. No strange flashing lights, no 18 year old's trying to be "cool" and no high pitched music. Definatly try it out if you are looking for a more upscale Hookah place, just know that the group sitting next to you may very well overhear your entire convo and possibly give you some unwanted advice about your love life....
I went here with my girlfriend on a Friday night and loved it. The atmosphere is great--clean, comfortable, relaxing, and inviting. The owner was really nice and helpful. It is $23, but if you split it between people, and factor in unlimited free (delicious) tea, it is a very good deal.
I had smoked hookah before, but had never been to a hookah lounge. I was a bit hesitant to go here at first, thinking it might be sketchy or awkward. After visiting, I will definitely be going back again.
We found this place on a whim... And it's by far the most relaxed hookah lounge I've been to in Denver. The converted house is nicely decorated, with many semi-private rooms with couches, chairs and a couple sitting rooms well-stocked with pillows. The hardwood floors, exposed brick walls and polished wood make for a very pleasant atmosphere.
They have a great selection of shisha, organic teas (free!), and the most incredible hookah pipes I've ever seen. I've never heard of Mya, the company that makes the pipes... but they are a seriously good smoke. Very impressive all around... we'll definitely be coming back here regularly!
We found this place on Yelp and are paying it forward for other Yelpers. What a little treasure this place is! The owners opened a Red Poppy in Iowa and decided to bring one to Denver. This is a very cool place. You feel like you're just hanging out with your friends at their house...only their house has an awesome collection of hookah and organic teas. If you get hookah you get free unlimited tea also!
Come check this place out! Great for a date or a group outing. Just a wonderful haven of hospitality.
The Red Poppy is the best Hookah Parlor around! The owners are friendly, accommodating and lovely to chat with. They explained how it all works to me, being a newbie, and I never felt silly for asking questions. The flavor of their hookah is fabulous, and the atmosphere is very cozy. If you are looking for a relaxing, enjoyable time, I recommend the Red Poppy!
Review Source:Just go, the rest of this review doesn't matter.
We were looking for a place to sit and talk for a bit and a Yelp search for late night tea gave us this goldmine. Â the 4 of us ended up enjoying 2 rounds of hookah and many trays of free tea. Â I really couldn't have asked for more. Â The service was great, the product was great, and the shop was super comfortable and inviting.
Definitely a nice place to go if you want to have a nice conversation with friends. Took me and two friends and were surprised to see it was in a nice little house. Everything was nice and clean and there were different areas to smoke. The price is pretty good since multiple people can share a hookah and we had a Yelp deal for $5 off. Complimentary tea was very nice as well.
Review Source:Best hookah & tea parlor in Denver, hands down. Â Amazing atmosphere and quality service. Â They also served us free tea on the house and even offered us a discounted re-light on our hookah since we were there for 4 hours! Â I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing night out in LoHi.
